But Bruce Wayne would give up his seat and he is very polite especially to those who he deems as responsible and respectful. I imagine if Bruce was in a bar he would be quite personable.
Batman or Superman. Not Clark or Bruce. Both alter ego's are very different from their every day persona.

And yet they are the same person, why would batman be sitting in a bar in the first place?

I do understand what you mean about how his mood does seem abrasive but given the example given I disagree hence the alter ego argument.

i'm Batman all the way. I still think Superman is a fantastic character, buy it's a character that hasnt had justice done. However after watching smallville I do like Supderman alot more.

Well, I'm a Spider-man myself.:o

I'm with you. Spider-man is my favourite. i kind of have the same problems sometimes.

of the two, i picked Batman just cause i like the complexity of his character. I also a bit bias because i have a problem with the guy everybody looks upto. I've always enjoyed villains, and Batman's probably the only heroic character other than Wolverine that has the ability to make a great villain without changing their personas.

Just wanted to add a little something here since this is the DC comic book section instead of the batman or superman section. Lately i've been thinking a lot of what if batman became a villain, but i also thought of something else. Instead of Superman vs. Batman, what would the fight be like if it was Superman...wait for it....wait for it...vs. BRUCE WAYNE. Bruce in all aspects is pretty much similar to Lex Luthor plus an alter ego. If he used his billionaire status, wouldn't it be an interesting battle between he and superman?

Bruce and Lex are very similar with the only difference coming from their personal goals. Lex- world domination Bruce- erradication of crime (ie - his world domination). Nice deduction Mischievious.

A bit of both. I am an Idealist, but I am a person with a darker alter-ego.

I like them both equally. I think one cannot exist without the other. Bats and Supes.

There are two kinds of people in this world -- those who try to maintain a simplistic view of humanity by forcing themselves to view it through one artificial binary rubric, and those who do not.

Batman...I like prefer loneliness to larg crowds...I like dewy rain downpours...I love gothic architecture...

Id like to be the guy serving Batman drinks , then he would talk to me whilst I make his order and he would tell me all his problems , Like how he could beat superman in a fight (this is after he has had one 2 many drinks of course) He would then rattle on drunkenly by saying he is so lonely and that nobody will ever understand them ( this is when try to remove his drink from his hand), and I will be all like ''ok sir its 1am, have to close down the bar now''.

Isn't being a psychotic bastard a good thing? ;)

Batman all the way. Though Superman does have quite an "iconic" feel to him, it's just a little bit too perfect in my book...

Eh, Supes is more "recognizable," but I think by now, Batman has finally become the most popular one...now all we have to do is wait for people to realize it. :p

Batman... and Marvel fans tend to hate Batman cuz he has no powers WHATSOEVER...
this is why he is badass

Green Arrow calls Batman "The Ghoul." *laughs*

Yes Batman is simply a man. Like the Merovingian kept saying about Neo but yet he defy's logic. I'm a both type of guy. Superman was the first true awesome hero in our world of comics. Batman came later as did others like Spidey, F4, Thor, Wolvie, Flash, and others.

My favorites in no order: Bruce, Clark, Peter, and Logan/John/Patch.

I think if Superman had great writers for him that he would blow all away right now he has okay writers get him great ones like Miller and watch would happen I mean look at Kingdom Come.

Superman is probably the second most recognised fictional character EVER, next to Mickey Mouse (Why God, why?). Batman has his place in pop culture too but Superman IS pop culture.

Actually, they did a study once, and found that, presently, Mario (the Nintendo character) is more recognizable to children than Mickey Mouse.
