Batman OYL discussion thread

In this day and age maybe. Solid run used to be like 30 issues.

Yeah...who knows Dini might stay on for a while.

Glad Face the Face is over, ended pretty lame IMO. (who the heck is Great White Shark??) Bring on Kubert and Morrison.

Go read Arkham Asylum:Living Hell by Dan Slott NOW! You'll thank me later.

Is there a money back guarantee?

Finally got my cipy of Detective today. It kicks so much ass it's not even funny.

Best line:

I hear the slow gurgle of pleasure in the muggers throat. I'll turn it into a scream

I hope Dini stays on for quite a while. That issue looked awesome!

Okay,

but still; which would you want to get?

I'll probably get the top cover. A little more colorful. That other one looks like someone smeared dookie all over it.

The second one. If my LCS puts the other in my box I just swap it out with the other out on the rack.

First cover has too much red but the second is too gray, lol. I think I would prefer the first however.

I think the top one looks better, I'll definately be picking that one up. I like the color.

First one. I like it for the color, and Batman's design. The second is cool, but not as good poitioning as the frist.....I think.

Meh, I'll probably pick up the TPB after I collect them....so....whatever. lol.

I'll grab the first one. The second one reminds me of the cover to All-Star #1...that's not a good thing.

I like the monochromatic style of the second one, but I don't like the color they used. :)

I'll get the first one, because the color is nice and Batman actually looks better in that one.

This is my first time ever to follow any ongoing comics, so I'm pretty excited. I went and purchased all 8 parts of Face the Face and DC 821, and just finished them, so I'm now officially caught up with Batman OYL. FTF was great, and 821 reminds me how much I love Dini's work on TAS.

So I'm warning you, I tend to cause a lot of mayhem on message boards, and I intend on wreaking havoc in this thread.

Nah, I'm a pretty laid-back guy.

Can't wait for 655.
