Cant say im too excited about Morrison on Batman but I guess the first issue will let me know whats up. But damn Detective Comics is in my top 5. Looks like JH Williams doesnt stick around long.

Not really all that surprising considering he's been doing Robin while doing Detective. Rarely can an artist pull off two titles a month.

Eh, I prefer his art on Robin, anyway.

Hmm. I just compared side by side.

J.H.'s use of color is really fantastic. His panelling's also very innovated compared to most. It's also rather gritty.

Freddie's is smoother, more cartoonish. Which, admittedly, I generally prefer.

Yeha, I dont think JH does his own coloring but yeah, the reds in the issue were vibrant. Though, his Bruce could use some work.

It's like totally uncool to give colorists any credit.

For some reason, I'm very rarely happy with artists' interpretation of Batman. I haven't a clue why.
