That's basically what I was thinking as well.It would piss me off beyond all imagination if they canceled LOTDK for Confidential, only to cancel Confidential after 8 issues. Bastards.

Not really. LOTDK was (for the most part) out-of-continuity Batman tales. Kinda of a what-if, no-hold-barred type thing. Confidential is in-continuity, just not in chronological order with the rest of the Bat-books. Stories about Batman's early, formative years.

I also must say that "Lovers and Madmen" seems to be a loose adaptation of what we have been hearing about during the filming of 'The Dark Knight' film. Very weird "coincidence?"
