BvS Batman v Superman: Dawn of Easter Eggs

Not sure if anyone caught this
but Cyborg's dad...Silas Stone...is played by Joe Morton....who also played Miles Dyson in Terminator 2 and was the creator of Skynet

He was also in Smallville, as was Lois' "photographer", was funny hearing him say "Lois" actually, cause he used to say it all the time lol

Other Smallville actors were in MoS too. Not sure if he does that on purpose.

My absolute favourite was their version of this:

He was also [BLACKOUT]Dr Steven Hamilton in Season 1 & 2 of Smallville[/BLACKOUT]

Michael Cassidy who played [BLACKOUT]the CIA Ooerative who many are claiming is Jimmy Olsen although they never call him that in the film was Grant Gabriel in a later season (7?) on Smallville as well[/BLACKOUT]

So we have seen the Robin suit. (No need for spoiler tags, that's in the trailers.) But, we aren't told which Robin it belonged to. Or were we?

When Bruce and Alfred are taking about his 20 years of crime fighting, Bruce says, "How many good guys are left? How many stayed that way?" Given the graffiti on the suit and that little comment, I think it's safe to say that, not only did the suit belong to Jason Todd but, that he's already become Red Hood!

The movie was smart about how it worked in comics moments. Everything felt fairly organic.

Yeah definitely, that ps one of the things I cannot fault.

Did you like the film btw?

Ding ding, ding ding

Darkseid/New God's reference

Also, therewas a picture of Superman holding a car (same pose as Action Comics #1) at the Superman statue when Wallace Keefe goes there.

-Ace Chemicals: in the background of the final fight.
-Final Crisis: the appearance of
Barry, reminded me of his first appearance in FC.
-Considering the film examines Christian imagery and mythology considerably, I love how Batman fashioned his own version of Longinus, the spear that pierced Christ. Also, note the crosses in the background during the aftermath of a certain scene.
-Most of the Wayne ancestors are referenced, from those involved with the Court of Owls and Gates of Gotham storylines.

Return of Kevin Costner as Pa Kent.
Is that an Easter egg?

The ending

Amish funeral lol I was snickering in my seat. What a weird funeral. With the horse and.. idk just a little silly lolol

No. He's talking about Harvey Dent.

Why does everyone immediately forget the Batman's most famous ally-turned-villain and go straight for Red Hood/Robin-as-Joker conspiracy stuff?

A great Easter Egg was the shot of Lex's [BLACKOUT]painting[/BLACKOUT] after he says that the [BLACKOUT]bell[/BLACKOUT] cannot be [BLACKOUT]unrung[/BLACKOUT] and that [BLACKOUT]"he's coming."[/BLACKOUT]

The [BLACKOUT]painting[/BLACKOUT] is now the [BLACKOUT]devil[/BLACKOUT] coming from the [BLACKOUT]sky[/BLACKOUT] -- and while he [BLACKOUT]flipped[/BLACKOUT] it to symbolize [BLACKOUT]Superman[/BLACKOUT], it is clearly a signal that [BLACKOUT]Darkseid[/BLACKOUT] will be the true [BLACKOUT]devil[/BLACKOUT] coming from the [BLACKOUT]sky[/BLACKOUT].

That was excellent.

And the
"bell"
analogy is inspired. Especially when you realiZe what he's referring to.

There were a ton of TDKR eggs. Here is another one:

When he crashed through the wall to take out that thug while saving Martha Kent.
That was awesome!

I just went Red Hood. Not Robin-as-Joker.

Yeah, plus why would he judge Jason Todd/Red Hood in this incarnation. Look what Batman does.
I'm very surprised we have an alive Joker in this world. I'll take that as possibly a more brutal and methodical Joker than even the comics. Batman: RIP, anyone?

Has anyone done a video of all the BvS Easter eggs yet?

Here's a vid, though he didn't get all of them.

This might have been my eyes deceiving me, but was Senator Pat Leahy at the senate hearing?
