Anyone buy the Multiverse 6 inch? Hows the quality in person? More realistic to the characters or worse?

Couldn't find the funko pops anywhere :( got the gray shirt with the logo though.

I bought all of the Multiverse figures including Wonder Woman. The Batfleck (regular suit) is the worst paint job and sculpt out of the bunch, and while the WW figure looks decent it looks nothing like Gadot to me. The Cavill Supes and Armored Batman are both solid figures, the Armored Batman being the best figure of the bunch.

Agree 100%.

I'm getting the basic line as well. I really dig them and for the price point I figured, why not?

I want to know what the other 2 figures are going to be out of 5 - 8 for the Multiverse. I know there's Nightmare Bats and Lex. I really hope there is a Doomsday.

My guess is Aquaman will most likely be one of them and I have a feeling Lois might be the other. I feel like I've heard Amy Adams mention more than once that she's kinda bummed about not getting a figure for MoS. I wouldn't be surprised if she got that in her contract for BvS or something.

Shadowbat, happy to see our paths cross again, its been a long time! I'm interested to hear your thoughts on the Hot Toys Batfleck figure everyone seems to be complaining about.

Because that's Mattel, definitely not the Multiverse line.

Mattel make the Multiverse line. They're making both the "basic" line and the "deluxe" aka "Movie Masters" lines. I think they're all branded Multiverse these days (although Mattel is terribly inconsistent, especially since Multiverse was originally the name for their 3.75" action figure line).

And even adding "Movie Masters" to the deluxe action figures is misleading since the scale seems to be different to their earlier Movie Masters for the Batman, Green Lantern and Man of Steel movies.

The articulation on that Lex Luthor prototype indicates that it will be part of their "deluxe" aka "Movie Masters" line, which is the line with the eight figures to build the Grappling Gun.

I would guess Aquaman since he's in the basic line. And Doomsday.

It's possible that Doomsday's design wasn't finalised in time for Mattel to produce any toys, which could explain his complete absence from any and all merchandise to date. OR Doomsday was originally intended to be the "surprise" villain and for whatever reason, they decided to reveal him in the most recent trailer.

The merchandise including Doomsday could still be embargoed until a later date, which would correlate with Doomsday being part of the second way of the deluxe/Movie Masters action figures.

Alternatively, Mattel may have decided that Doomsday would cost too much to release as a "standard" figure. So, the eighth figure could be another character and Doomsday could be a separate, super-deluxe (and higher cost) release in the future. Then again, this is Mattel, and they would normally just under-size a figure to keep costs down (or include it as a "collect and connect" figure).

The buys will probably come down to the MaFex figures or the Play Arts Kai for my money. The Kai, compared to the awful MoS one, is very nice and beautifully made and sculpted. I got the Hot Toys on pre-order and will buy the DC Collectibles Supes statue as well.

Where I can found this pics without text.

Can we all commend Wilkinson on his costume design? The skirt is short enough to be sexy if you are into that kind of thing, and long enough to look practical and not revealing.

And the straps make sense.

Yeah. It's perfect length. I love Wilkinson.

It has been a very long time.

I'll be honest, I don't give a lot of thought on toys or collectables any more. If I like it I like it, if I don't I don't. It's all ones personal preference. My opinion on the HT Batfleck? I don't like it. I think they could have done a much better job.

We shall have no other costume gods besides holy Wilkinson.

I can only imagine what his cyborg and flash look like. And GL, which if its Hal I hope it looks akin to Azzarellos GL design he did for DC collectables.

I may bite and just get the Hot Toys figures. I wanted to wait for a look at Mezco's One:12 figures, but something tells me we might not hear or see of those for a while.

I don't know how anyone can complain about these figures when compared to the crap cheap and repackaged junk marvel has been trotting out for almost 4 years now.
Well that's expected from Marvel and their overpriced crap but not from DC dagnabbit!!
