Oh no. So much money is going to be spent at the concession stand...

Same design as before....this doesn't seem to be some random thing they're adding to the merch. :hmm

I have a very hard time imagining this horrible green and purple thing being in the film, but it is a bit odd, I agree with that.

:hmr: This looks so much better than the initial prototype images they released.

Poor Superman. All he comes with is some extra hands and a chunk of Kryptonite. :hehe:

Both toys are made by Mattel so it makes sense that they would have the same design. Probably doesn't mean much unless the Lexsuit shows up in unrelated merchandise.

I'm surprised that we haven't seen any Doomsday stuff. It seems like they were probably originally intending to hold back on his reveal and didn't want toys to spoil it.

Ugh these costume designs are GOAT comic book movie suits ... along with Winter Soldier Cap and Iron Man mark 1 through 7. So bad ass. Hopefully the movie and performances deliver as well. Comic accurate while still being plausible and removing the stupid undies on both.

Wish I could afford this Hot Toys stuff. I'll have to make due with Mattel and the Mafex figures when they release.

Yeah, the next wave has to be Lex, Knightmare Batman, Aquaman and Doomsday.

I'm having such a tough time with all this merch. I want everything, but I'm debating whether I'm too old to be spending money on them or not.

..... I hate being an adult.

Are you trying to break my bank? Lol ...

I have too many other bills and payments to make off. Great pieces but beyond pricey. Not sure if totally worth it. If I was making more money, sure. But winter is tough in Chicago especially following Christmas and the New Year. Two short months in terms of pay checks.

If I didn't snag TDK trilogy stuff from Hot Toys I will pass on these, even though they're icky sick. I don't even know if the movie will be good or if I'll like it. I'm waiting to cement my Mafex purchase for Batman and Superman to see if I like the movie first. And $50 for some 6 inch figures is pretty steep in my book.

Caved today and got the Multiverse Batman figure. It's terrible. But I can't help it. I see Bats, I buy.

Im just waiting for those New Era brand collectors Hats that they showed off at NYCC to debut, i been checking their site multiple times a day for them but nothing is up yet, those and Mafex are probably gonna be my only big buys for this movie.

It's no difference in quality compared to Marvel Legends or any other 6 inch $20 caliber mass produced figure ... so?

I have a shelf full of Marvel Legends sitting here in my living room, and no. The quality of this Batman figure is nowhere near a ML. Heck, it's not even as good as a DC Collectibles figure. The sculpt is not very good and the articulation isn't in the same league.

ETA OK. Terrible is a little strong. But it's not very good. Single jointed elbows and knees and the hips are whacked.

Yeah, that Batman hat is awesome. Did they have a general release date?

It only said Q1 on the description cards at NYCC, so thats generally Jan-Mar. I was hoping someone here could super sleuth up a release date for them.

Um no. Unless youre an articulation junkie, there is nearly no difference in quality.

And why would a mass produced figure be similar to a DC Direct collectible? Which mind you come with hideously cheap paint and plastic that is infamous for breaking.

Mine is on a shelf as well next to Marvel Legends Iron Man mark 43, and Cap Winter Soldier. Same quality level. Only difference is maybe slightly more articulation on the Marvel Legend. Some of which doesn't even really add anything to the figure beyond making the sculpt a little more awkward.

Visually all four are near equals. BvS Batman and Superman along with Marvel Legends Cap and Iron Man.

All of them however are a firm notch below my Neca Batman 89 figure and my Mafex Dark Knight trilogy figure. I'm sure the same will apply to their Batman v Superman figures as well.

I have the AK and AO Batman from NECA, as well. Looking forward to their Batfleck.
