Hmmmm. It's had an upgrade since the original prototype pictures were released. It now has the Sam Browne holster, the leather wrapping on the hands/palms and an undersized lasso.

Unless the original prototype pictures were of a 31" MASSIVE Big Fig and these pictures are the 20" standard Big Fig?

Lol feel no shame. It only sounds funny because of the manufacture name. But if it was Mattel more people would own up and admit they want it too.

As far as Hot Toys figures, they are no different than any other toy maker. Their show outed pieces are always going to be the Best. So I think it's smart to wait for actual release. Just like buying new tech. I never buy it when it's first released. I wait for others to get it first bc they always review it.

I have not any experience with that, is it possible that this Pre-Order will be changed with SOLD OUT soon?can pre-order item be sold out,or it must be IN STOCK? I'm asking that because merch are usually sold out after movies/animations are released. I have nightmarish experience with SOLD OUT items. so I'm scared
p.s. I own Hunger Games Katniss barbie from this line she's flawless. but boys from HG have real hair. it would be nice if Supes and Bat had real hair too. and I'm 100% sure released product will be different and better with more likness. stock images on Barbie website are always prototypes and they even don't change it after release. I'm picky as hell so I'm expert with details. t:
P.SS. I really wonder those boy's bodies . what's happening inside costume, muscle body or just puffy outfits. so many questions...

Good choice. These Hot Toys look so good that even I feel tempted to buy them, despite not really being into action figures and already having another hobby that's sucking the money from my pockets. But you think they might change for worse from how they looked at the show? It'd really be a dick move if they do that.

I've been in this hobby for several years, and generally Hot Toys improves or doesn't change the figure since the first showing at a convention or toy fair. I wouldn't use the marketing photos they put up for preorders to judge, but any photos showing the actual prototype on display will be a good benchmark for how the final product will be. I can't think of a figure that ended up looking worse than the prototype. There might be some QC issues though, more recent ones I can remember are Gamora and ED-209, but you won't know about these until people get it in-hand and they've been pretty rare since the ED-209 fiasco.

I don't see how HT could screw up the current BvS lineup though, they've had plenty of previously released figures with similar bodies and costume construction w/o issues, but the yet to be announced WW figure may be the more concerning one if they elect to go with a similar arm design as Gamora. The BvS regular Batman right now looks like garbage and hasn't improved in recent convention photos, might be worth waiting to see if they can improve that body sculpt before placing an order.

If you want to play it safe, you can wait for HT to post blogger pics on Facebook before pulling the trigger. Bloggers get the final product, not a prototype, and these pics are published well before the product reaches stateside, like 1-2 months ahead. It's pretty rare these days for a HT figure to presell out BEFORE blogger pics are published, unless it's an exclusive version (usually only Sideshow carries those). If you know you want it and don't mind putting down a deposit, I would definitely try to buy it before it's in stock, as the preorder price is usually at a discount for most retailers (except Sideshow or BBTS), and then they jack it back up to retail when it's in stock.

First time I see the top of the Trident (in the picture I mean ) and also I realize that Aquaman has no promo art made especially for him like Bats, Superman and Wonder Woman.

there has to be some concept art and some pics of him in costume out there somewhere so the merch peeps can make their products.

Now of course the film is in the can so we have finished shots with fx they could show us. But may choose to save something for the film. but hopefully we get a glimpse in the final trailer.

Yeah, I'm shocked how nice these look. I usually stay away from the big figures, but the likeliness on both Henry and Ben are really good for this scale.

thanks you for sharing. I think it looks good. but as always stock images are better.but for repaint sculpt is amazing. and body too. I'd like to have one but as I'm not from USA, I should pay for box size if I order it. so 20$ Superman and 48$ for transporting :| I really hate this. my main target is Hot Toys Superman. so I should leave everything behind for him.
