I have a feeling, just a feeling, that Batman was not expecting to see Superman standing there when he turned that corner. I think here he maybe starts shooting him and Supes straight up tosses the Batmobile into those gas pumps and then rips the doors off to tell Bruce to knock it off, because they have bigger problems...
I'm pretty sure this is their first meeting, when Supes breaks the batmobile and tell Batman to stop with his vigilant ways. He gets to peak under the cowl with X-Ray vision, but being newcomer doesn't realize that's Bruce Wayne, he only remembers the face and recognizes it when he sees him again at Lex's party and Bruce did his detective work in the meantime and learned of Supes identity, hence the scene from the beginning of new trailer.
My guess, at least.
Think I pretty much exploded when I first saw this shot.![]()
My dreams are real.

My thoughts as well.
You mean that kind of detective work, where you go. 'What the hell that guy is Superman but he's wearing glasses.'![]()
In this trailer shot, i kinda wished Batman had used his cape to cover himself like he does in the comics and cartoon. I know he's strapped into the Batmobile, but it looks a little wimpy for Batman, of all people, putting his hands up like this....
I think Batman should've just flipped Doomsday off instead of instinctually trying to protect himself.
