it isnt perceived-- it IS desperation. money is an extremely powerful motivator for the greedy to get things going their way however way they can the quickest time possible.
Nah, WB makes plenty of money.

which means
Justice League: 300

"THIS IS JUSTICE!"

This title keeps reminding me of Dawn of the Dead. lol
Will the sequel be called Day of Justice or Night of Living Justice?

Oh lawd!

I laughed so much at this. You must be the guy who financed John Carter. :BA
The question is: was John Carter the director's own vision or did the studio control most of it?

Yes I am glad you don't have that power and after reading this post I am still glad. It comes across as fan boy ranting and raving.
You'll change the title...probably to WF.
You'll scrap the film...without knowing anything about this film you've already deemed it crap and decided that it should go away.
Then have someone re-write the script...again fan boy knee jerk reaction
Take all the heroes other than Batman and Superman out because they should be in solo films AKA do it like Marvel.
Recast Batman and Lex...more fanboy knee jerking
redesign the bat suit....I can not NOT support this any harder...we have the first suit that looks like the guy from the comics and you want to change it...nope
and then hire a new director....again fan boy knee jerking.
I'm sure you would have liked the final film just as much as the upcoming one, if not more. :)

Bad Title:
An Even Worse Title

That's pretty much how I see it, haha.

Just curious, has anyone here heard someone official from WB verbally refer to it as "Batman VERSUS Superman" since this statement has been released?

Is it possible that "Batman VEE Superman" is the correct pronunciation?

It's entirely possible that that's the intended pronunciation.

Or "Batman five Superman", since v is the appropriate Roman numeral.

I prefer Batman Waffle Cone Emoji Superman.

Maybe it is 'Batman "See Below" Superman'. That ought to keep the Legal Kal-El fans happy.

I gave it 7/10. Batman V. Superman. I like it. Tells the audience what to expect, a conflict between the heroes of some kind.

The Dawn of Justice subtitle sounds a little to hokey to me. I understand that this is a prelude to Justice League but perhaps they could've conveyed that by some other means than sticking it right in the title, lol.

I've been meaning to make a joke about this, but never got around to it. Also something about Planet of the Apes. Again, didn't get around to it. :oldrazz:

Batman v Superman was pretty awesome considering they went with that S above the V but even if the logo itself went into the wall, had a shiny white line at the text part (dawn), a weary Batman logo with cool edges and a feeling that generally catches the movie, it failed big time. I mean, look at it for gods sake. It´s in poor shape, that wall needs to be more unique even if it´s the right kind of wall. It looks like a picture they found on google. The colors are terrible as well, it´s not gonna be more about Batman than Superman so why shade the proud symbol "S" like that? You can barely see the red...

As for dawn of Justice, it´s okay. I mean it´s cool that they went with Justice because I´m hoping that Superman, now feeling guilty about his "origin" comming to Earth making a huge mess, feels a need to go out and help people. He does so, and Lex or Batman or whatever puts up a real good fight and Superman sacrifices himself in ways that inspire people. You see, Diana, GL, MMH even Batman do not get hand picked by Batman (as Fury) they rally to him because they see someone giving up his own life for Justice. They see inspiration and justice, so they willingly come forth. Plus, you should never judge a movie´s title until you have seen the movie?

(Enlarge the picture and you´ll see it´s in pretty bad shape, even if the "idea" of it is good" I just don´t get why they didn´t spend more time on making it look better)

Wow ok I just have to say Avengers 2 Age of Ultron sounds horrible. I would have been fine with just Avengers 2.

"Dawn of Justice" sounds laughably cheesy.

1/10

I finally understood why they called it "Batman v Superman".

They're paying homage to this guy:

:hehe:

Ugh. The title is the one thing Ive seen that Ive legitimately disliked.

Man of Steel: World's Finest

or

Man of Steel: Shadow of the Bat

would have been perfect. Instead the title is basically a marketing gimmick - it managed to squeeze the names of 3 well-known properties in while blatantly spelling out the plot of the movie.

I like it. It has grown on me. It gets the idea across well enough. "Dawn of the Justice League" lacks poetry.

It's just a form of shorthand. E.g., gramatically we should be saying "War on Terrorism" but "War on Terror" is more evocative.

Dawn of Justice sounds good. I can't stand the "Batman v Superman" part
