Were those not pictures that you asked to take down because of that reason? Because I remember you specifically being pretty adamant about leaked promo art being taken down so you didn't have to worry about getting sued.

I don't know man. It seems we don't know if the site owner allows it until we post it. But if we post it, we can get in trouble This is kind of weird.

No....we were told to take down 2 pictures....one in B/W close up of Ben in Batsuit, one in color of upper torso of Ben in Batsuit. Those are the only 2 recent pictures of Batman we have been asked to remove. There are some promo art pics of Batman and WW and others that people on here say are leaked...but we have not been told by anyone official that they are leaked and that we need to take them down.

The site's owner doesn't know if he will get sued until a picture that some lawyers object to are posted. When we are told to remove a pic, we remove it and tell people to not post it. They do not get into trouble for posting it until they repeatedly post what we are telling them not to.

Okay, I am finally getting a better grasp of this topic.

Though I recall that particular part being mentioned about WB lawyers having the power to make mods on the forum ban a certain member. So, if they come and say to site owner "remove this and this picture and have those two guys that posted them banned, unless you want to get sued", he is compelled to do exactly as they say and the two guys in question are screwed? Or not?

The situation you are referring to is this - if a papporazzi takes a pic on a set and it gets posted to the net, if someone copies that pic and pastes it to a site like ours without giving that pappo his credit (which means paying him for it like the other site did) they have lawyers that contact us and threaten the HYPE as well as the poster that posted it - this has led to a 3 times and you are out deal with the uncredited posting of set pics.

The above situation is different from a studio picture being leaked....some studios don't get as excited about it as other studios do...but when they do get upset, they contact us and threaten to sue if we don't go through and delete all of them.

As you can see...we are the guys caught in the middle...we want people to have fun and post pics to talk about, but we sometimes get threatened by the big guys and then you guys complain about us trying our best to keep everything running smooth.

The only "promo" pics we were ever asked to take down were the very 1st two Batman ones from April 30th. One of them was basically the B&W close-up of Batfleck from the poster w/out the "S" symbol over his face, and the other was an in-color one of him from the waist up. We haven't heard anything since from WB, and currently have no intention of removing any of the others from this site unless we're asked.

Wow! Blown away! These are unbelievable! Truly excellent work. It amazes me that after so much detail in the artwork, the artist chose to use "Edge of Tomorrow" credits rather than the official film credits!
