Aside from that, the blue mesh and cape are probably all that's left from the MOS suit, this one is also bigger (cause Cavill got bigger for this).

The cape is also completely new.

Changing the eye area is fine, but I really prefer the original plum/purplish coloring

Good catch :) the mesh also looks a little different in those pix.

It's really hard to say (maybe slightly thinner?), but on the shield, the pattern (or the mesh if you prefer) is smaller than the MoS one (the precision of the sculpt is also much better).

Edit : So I might be the only one who prefers the BvS cape around here (the fabric is gorgeous and the pleats are now near perfection).

Same here. Don't know why they felt the need to add such a thick cloth-like texture to it.

I think it's to do with the ridges it gives off. The big rumor is that the suit is biotech, sorta like the liquid metal stuff seen in the first film and thats how Clark is going to hide it when in civilian mode. The ridges in the cape and suit would give a visual effect to that.

I call it "mesh" cause I remember them calling it that in a video that showed how they constructed the suit in Man Of Steel lol. The pattern in the BvS suit seems more spread out compared to the MOS one, atleast in those shots anyway.

I don't really mind the cape, my only issue was it being so long. I like the idea of it going down to the ground but not to the point where he literally drags it behind him.

Will someone explain me the meaning behind these annoying pics I see everywhere lately?

Interesting idea... nanotech suit is quite possible. I still prefer the look of the MOS cape though.

straight outta compton movie campaing done right.

...just far away...

The new texture probably gives more structure and shape without being thicker.
Only thing that peeves me, very slightly, is that Batmans appears to be the same material on the armored suit.

Same taylor (Edna) I suppose.

Yeah that's one of the main reasons I don't like it

Hmmm but why in this pic its like MOS one?

The original picture is particularly grainy and since this one is heavily compressed most of the details have been lost.

Here's the UHQ :
