Thats nice.. But umm... Are we just going to ignore the nipple thing?

I didn't even notice it, but okay what of it. It's no different than Val Kilmer's (albeit fake) ones on his Batsuit.

Hey hey.. I wasn't complaining, no one enjoys a cold room more than me ;) I was just saying. Still doesn't beat Katie Holmes from BB :oldrazz:

Everytime I make a classic trinity manip a lot of people say it should be Adam West instead of Michael Keaton, so now I made these posters inspired by the recent BvS posters with 60s' Batman (and now a lot of people will say it should be Keaton instead of West :whatever:)

No disrespect intended but in defence against the Donner films, people often compare them to Adam West's campy Batman or Lynda Carter's Wonder Woman. I haven't seen much of the Wonder Woman TV show, but one thing for certain is Reeve's Superman does not go with Adam West's Batman.

The major difference between that show and Reeve's Superman is that I can actually watch Reeve's Superman. I can't even sit through Adam West's Batman. "Why you--CRIMINALS!!" For me, it's awful.

I found Donner's Superman to be fairly serious and no where near as campy as Adam West's Batman. I could see Reeve's Superman teaming up with Michael Keaton's Batman, but not Adam West.

Costumes are more alike though. 89 Batman kinda stands out with all the rubber.

Deadpool will make money. But nothing about the trailers or marketing is making me want to pay to go see that movie. It didn't make me laugh one bit. I'm not excited AT ALL.

And I think it will suck. But I hope it doesn't because it might derail comic book movie hype for the GA leading up to BvS, a movie which I hope will not suck.

I agree. I don't think the Batman TV show is bad, but it's not just outdated, it was almost a parody of Batman from the start.

Wonder Woman series had silly outdated things but was taken seriously, it's similar to Reeve's Superman but with the scale of a TV show... I mean, it's serious, but lighthearted.

But it's complicated. With Adam West it would be Superman and Wonder Woman in their prime and Batman past it (Adam West played Batman in 1979 in Legends of Superheroes, he was 51, kinda weird but still believable I guess)... while with Keaton, they would all be almost the same age (Reeve was a year younger than Carter and Keaton), but only Batman in his prime (it would happen in the early 90s, both Reeve and Carter in their 40s already showing some age... Batman can be older, but for Superman and Wonder Woman could be strange). It would be more like Kingdom Come, I guess :mnm:

It's funny that Adam West in Legends of Superheroes looked like TDKR Batman. They also got Captain Marvel from the TV show, if they were aiming to be more serious with the story and with a better budget maybe they could have gotten Wonder Woman.

I like Deadpool, and I sort of agree with you there - I think they just went a little too overboard (for some reason, the excessive description of Wade's face kept annoying me)

We will have to wait and see how it turns out. Hopefully it will be good.

That fact they used Bruce Timm style makes it even better

Should be Keaton

My trinity would be -

Superman - George Reeves, Batman - Adam West, WW - Lynda Carter.

Superman - Chris Reeve, Batman - Michael Keaton, WW - ..

Superman - Brandon Routh, Batman - Christian Bale, WW - Megan Gale/ Adrianne Pallicki.

Superman - Henry Cavill, Batman - Ben Affleck, WW - Gal Gadot.

I think Deadpool will do very well with it's targeted audience. Even the internet peeps all seem to like it. I don't recall hearing any complaints.

For me, I won't watch the movie. The humor was awful for me. It felt forced and quite frankly very annoying. Watching the trailers was rough enough, I can't imagine sitting through the entire movie.

But I'm probably just a bore because the internet peeps seem to think it's hilarious. I wish I felt the same way. :csad:

Same. I agree with the humor being forced. And it doesn't help that I can't understand what Deadpool is saying half the time. I think the mask is the problem- similar to Bane's mask. I think it just comes down to, if you can't see the person's lips while they talk, it makes it slightly more difficult to comprehend.
