The Dark Knight Batmobile To Go BOOM!?

Sorry Miranda, I started the Joke. There is always some mother****er’s trying to ice skate uphill.

Blade quote FTW!

Hmm, sexy Michelle pictures...I may have acess to those (I'm aware of how...sapphic that sounds.)

What I wouldn't give to see what Miranda Fox really looks like. lol sounds stalker-ish I know.

PS: Blade quotes = amazing.

What's-his-face: What do you think?
Blade: Sounds like a plan.
Whistler: What do you really think?
Blade: They're gonna **** us the first chance they get.

I think what will be a sign as to weather we get a completely new vehicle, or a rebuilt tumbler would be if it gets ditched in the drink or not.

you kind of contradicted yourself- and i agree with your second paragraph- the tumbler IS the batmobile, so there's no need to have an entirely different design emerge if the first is destroyed because everyone already accepts the tumbler as the batmobile. i can see some enhancements but not a completely slick batmobile a la burton.

am i really the only one who thinks a batcycle would pwn? dude a highspeed motorcycle would kick ass (although his cape is way too huge probably)

Oh I'm not suggesting that.

I just said I suspect that the Tumbler was always meant to be the prototype to the Batmobile. I think it will be modified in its look and functions but it won't be a departure from the Tumbler designed. Kind of like the Enterprise from the original series to the Enterprise from Movies with the original crew.

Nor do think or hope that Batman would start referring to it as the Batmobile. I would expect that term to be coined by the Gotham media.

I'm not ashamed to say I liked the sequel.

Wow Miranda! :hyper:

Here is another Blade quote, from Blade II:

Scud: Lock up your daughters boys and girls, the dark knight returns!

Reinhardt: Hmm... Well, like my daddy said right before he killed my mom, "If you want something done right, you gotta do it yourself."
Blade: Can you blush?
[Disarms Reinhardt, catches the sword, and slices Reinhardt in half]

That’s a guilty pleasure of mine too. Funny you mention that, I always felt a heavy BAT vibe in no2. Can't explain it just Blades confidence and how he was prepared for different scenarios. Then look who ends up writing Begins :woot:

Blade II was the best out of all three. Del Toro did an amazing job. Blade III?... Umm... Yeah, Goyer should have stayed in the writer's chair.

And he's directing Magneto - David, I love you, but please just stop and think for a sec...

I'd love to see Del Toro tackle Batman sometime in the future.

The only thing I can half picture not being laughable is a bike. How much crime does Batman have to fight on the open sea? To make it useful in Batman Forever the Riddler had to have his own island

Not exactly my friend. The Narrows is on an island, Wayne Manor borders water, Gotham City is on the harbor, and there are canals all running within the interior of the city as well as out of it.

If you think about it, a boat would probably be quicker to get to the city from the Manor because a boat wouldn't have to weave in and out of traffic..........

Cool find Miranda, i think Alfred and Lucius Fox are gonna have thier work cut out for them this time .

That would be incredible. With Nolan and Emma Thomas as Executive Producers, with a script written by the Nolan brothers and Paul Dini.

Aww man, I don't want The Tumbler to be blown up. It's too badass.

I just hope Batman build it the exact some way. And as long as The Joker is the one to blow it up.

I think this has permanently tainted heroes in boats for me :woot:

How could I forget Dini? Completely agree.

I have a feeling Nolan might abdicate directorial duties on the third film and stick around as a producer. But that's just IMO.

Hmm.. I don't know if I'd like Del Toro to take on a Batman film... I say this because Del Toro is more of a gore/horror/fantasy inclined director(referring to the images: he likes things in jars, decomposing flesh/materials etc...) - I don't know how well that would tie in with Batman. Hell, for all I know it would be the best Batman film ever. I love Del Toro's work (I can't wait for the next Hellboy film) the imagery in his movies is amazing... even the set designs for Blade II and the color schemes in the movie were awesome - the same goes for Hellboy & Pan's Labyrinth. and what a coincidence that He's using two actors from Blade II for Hellboy 2... Ron Perlman as Hellboy and Luke Goss(who played Nomack) as the Prince.

I would too! I think something similar to a tomahawk, but black would be awesome.

Offtopic, but Hellboy was one of the worst films I've ever seen.

i sure hope he doesn't drive a bike in this film, its corny to me. The tumbler is not a tank eithwer,as some people insist. It's tiny compared to the Burton car. I like it and hope it's here to stay.

Though if it get's blown up i won't mind. In terms of modifying suit and car, i would have preferred bruce do this as choice as opposed to being forced but oh well.

Just don't make the tumbler look like anything from the comics and we'll be fine.

No thanks to Del Toro, give me Fincher or Aronofsky.....

With the Tumbler seemingly to be put out of action, and the re-emergence of a New Batmobile possibly in the third film.

Would it be safe to say that theres a possibility of Bats getting a certain two wheeled mode of transport as a temporary vehicle to tide him over?

There was a report on BOF about this a while back.....

I wonder? ;)

I really hope it's not a motorcycle - it just doesn't work for me. I guess if anybody could make it work, it would be Nolan.

Again, a boat makes a lot more sense than a bike.

The batmobile getting destroyed reminds too much of the old batman movies. 2 out of 4 in the old series had the batmobile getting destroyed.
