I love Zep. I love the Beatles. Also, Velvet Underground is great, and Rush is technically brilliant AND has great lyrics.

Yeah VU is one of my top 5 bands but I didn't put them on this because classic rock radio almost never plays them. Bastards.

Did you or did you not get the concept here :hyper:
Sorry, I just read "I can go on forever, baby." and thought you meant, as far as...their...music, their songs.:(
What did I miss?
You meant that you could go on forever about that one tiny handful of okay songs, or...what?

Well I was just listing some of the main songs that were popular. But they had other great ones too just alittle phrase I guess

Hey...Rush has awesome lyrics and songs.
They have 2 good songs and the most hilariously pretentious lyrics of all time.

It's actually a joke with my friends and I, we'll hear someone on TV say something as silly as "I CHOOSE FREE-WILL!" or "Shatter the illusion of integri-TEE!" and say, "Whoah! is that Neil Peart?!?"
Hahahahaha

I've heard that blasted Tom Saywer song way too many times and I have come to hate it now. :(

2 good songs? A little harsh? Do you need insanely awesome prog rock or can you get down to, like, Lou Reed solo? Warren Zevon?

Oh definately. Especially Subdivisions or most anything on Moving Pictures.

Wow, The Beatles and Led Zeppelin are in the top two spots... what a shock...

erm, I like both those guys based mainly on what I've read about them.
I like Werewolves of London, but I have a feeling that it's his "Stairway to Heaven". :(

But I really liked how he dealt with his death by cancer!

Lou Reed?...you can't live with him, you can't live without him.

Meh, Clapton=God but I always found him to be better with the guys from Cream.
I prefer Dominoes era "Derek" ;)
