yes but not automatically...
assault class is equiped with a painful looking adrenaline shot which quickly gives you full health... other classes have medipacks.. some dont regen though, but they can live longer.

and in BC2 i think you could bring people back to life like in BF2 on PC

In a preview on GameSpot they said specifically that you don't have shots and whatnot in this game.

finally got around to playing MW2... its fun but BC is lightyears better.
its pretty much subpar in every field, except that it has more game modes (none of which are better than the gold crates in BC). Every level is so cramped up that its useless to be a sniper. I didnt play single player but i would assume the story is better than BC's... though less humorous.

I just got BF:BC for the 360, so I might end up playing the MP with my brother's gamer tag just to try it out.

From the demo I had played, the story seemed better and made more sense than most of COD4. I'd have to play through all of BC to be sure.

And yeah, playing in large open spaces makes things much more fair.

They pushed back the PC beta to early next year.

We wanted to update you, and slow the flood of tweets, on questions surrounding the BFBC2 PC Beta being cancelled. I'll get right to it and say "the BFBC2 PC Beta is not cancelled". Now this all started due to changes made to an earlier blog that removed the PC Beta from the details and the reason for this was the plan changed. With the huge success of the PS3 Beta we decided to drastically increase the PC Beta's capacity to insure as many people as possible could participate. Unfortunately this meant we had to delay the Beta to very early next year giving us more planning time to make it happen and implement more optimizations.

Here is a recap of the current PC features, and we can now confirm DX11 support with more details to come later!

PC Enhanced Features

� Up to 32 Players on PC (24 on consoles) - Play with up to 32 players online in the biggest multiplayer Maps in Battlefield. Each with a different tactical and gameplay focus set across a variety of environments.

� Friend Support - Find your friends online with the new buddy list to see if and who is online so you can quickly join their game.

� Dedicated Ranked Server - Everyone gets non-stop action with no connection penalties based on some other player's internet. Ranked Server Provider program will give players opportunity to rent their own server(s) located in professional grade datacenters, ability to modify settings like map rotation, create reserved slots for friends or clan members, kick & Ban players, and custom name your ranked server.

� Clan Support & Private Servers - Independent Clan Tag, and ability to rent servers for hosting and controlling private password protected competitive servers with expanded control over the settings from public ranked servers.

� PC Squad Play System - Updated from previous Battlefield PC titles now gives control of your squad before heading into combat.

Im suddenly looking forward to this. Im so dreadfully bored of CoD that im ready for something else. Iv been watching the videos on the XBL Marketplace and they look really cool.

The worst part about this game is the release date. That is right around Splinter Cell: Conviction, Mass Effect 2, and Bioshock 2 and I"m sure all 3 games will be better than this one which sucks because this game does look fun.

Yea, true. Ill get them all, minus Bioshock 2 due to the fact i havent played the first one.

I highly suggest you play it, it's one of the best games out there for the 360 or ps3. Great gameplay and a fantastic story.

I hear that a lot, i dont know why i havent gotten around to it. I mean i played the demo and enjoyed the demo.

Yea i had problems connecting too, but finally was able to get into a game, a laggy game, but i got the jist of it. I enjoyed it. Wasnt crazy about the map but there is a sense theres a real battle going on. With tanks rolling past you, helicopters flying over head. The sound is really good. Being that im pretty much completely burned out with the CoD series, i deff think ill be picking this up.

Got a few good sessions in. Ranked to level 2 and unlocked all the available weapons. Lots of fun. I'm constantly pressing select to reveal enemy locations.

Is it just me or are all the automatic guns really inaccurate? I seem to have trouble hitting people even at close range.

You just have to not hold down the trigger. I've gotten sniper length shots with the assault rifles.

I just lost a game playing defense. The attackers only had one ticket left.

Does anyone think the classes are kind of weird? Why do engineers have silenced weapons? Why do medics have light machine guns? Are medics even necessary?
