Are the people at WB ******s, doesn´t anybody have a clue? How the hell did Nolan get BB greenlighted without someone at the studio screwing everything up and turning the movie into a light comedy? Perhaps he has got pictures of studio execs and farm animals or something.

My friend and I were talking and we agree-this would work off great as an epic trilogy in the vein of Star Wars. Start it with Hal, then Kyle, and finally John.

You could start it off as a war film, have him get the ring, and show him learning from Sinestro in a simular manner of exposition that Spidey learned how to do his thing.

I really like that idea.

I thought DC supposedly hired their "Avi Arad" to insure this wouldn't happen. He did good with BB and he did decent with SR but dude aint done a dang thang after that. Sucks to be a DC fan huh? Good thing I'm a Marvel zombie!
I like GL so I hate this freakin move. The sad thing is if this movie gets made(and it probably will) and bombs(which it will) you probably will never see a Green Arrow or any other superhero film except the big 3 cuase they won't see a market for it.

I'm not much of a fan, but I read Emerald Dawn and thought it would make a good movie. This script is pretty crappy though.

Why in the Hell would WB ok this script? I'm sure they won't but why waste any time with this writer? Is it because of the production company behind it?

WB is asking for trouble. You take something that has so much potential, and you make it into a slap-stick comedy? The hell is that all about? It's Catwoman and Batman & Robin all over again.

WB, you got Batman Begins. You got it right. Superman, though flawed, still has enough kicks in it to kick ass. But damn..

How could you not learn from CINO?? Here is a movie that is 100% removed from the source material, receiving absolutely no approval or advice from the comic world, and they end up with both a bad movie and flop (as opposed to making a bad movie, but having it be a hit...then perhaps I could understand this approach...)
But they are doing the exact. same. thing.

Holy crap, when a child sticks a finger in a light socket and they get a shock, they at least learn not to stick anymore fingers in anymore light sockets.

this is still the same people who thought a flightless Superman and a kryptonian Lex was a good idea. the people who forced Schumacher into going all neon-crazy. the people who greenlit CINO and thought it was a good idea. the people who announce movies based on Zatanna and Wonder Twins, f***in Wonder Twins, but not on other great heroes like Green Arrow.

y'know what I don't understand? Why the f**k are they not making a parody out of Wonder Twins, who are already a big joke all on their own, instead of f**king with yet another character.
