why not? during the frieza saga all we knew of was super sayin..nothing stronger until ssj2 came along , then wat do u know ssj3, so just because mystic was the strongest at that time doesnt mean it cant be mystic 2 or something like that...if u know dbz, nothing is set in stone...by the way i believe a mastered ssj3 goku is, if not stronger than mystic gohan

Only Elder-Kaioshin knew how to unlock full potential, noone can unlock it by their own.

DBZ is not about feats of physical strenght like picking up cars and crap.....it's about fighting....they had the strength yes but that really didn't matter if the next guy could level a city with a lift of his finger using Ki.....

But it had it's moments like Goku and Vegeta Training under 100 times gravity and makin it look like nothin.....plus I think Vegeta was up to like 400 times or something like that......going from weighing 185lbs to 74,000lbs and still train like normal is not a normal feat of strength.....

goku training on grand kai's planet where the gravity was more than on earth and having like 40ton weights on his hands and feet and kicking and punching like normal......

it has some feats like that but it was more about ki and the power to just annihilate planets like they were nothing.....

its faster than light..how fast does it take light to reach the moon? picoloo destroyed the moon in an instant at power level 1000 ssj3 goku is maybe 500,000,000...how about friesa's beam...faster than picolo's special beam cannon(which is faster than light) can be detected by a super sayin...cells speed is almost as fast as I.T..which is well..instant
