a humans cant but a sayins can...lightspeed is the normal speed for them...beginning of dbz radditz is catching shotgun bullets at point blank range....radditz dodged special beam cannon(how fast was it? fast or almost as fast as light)..well things have gotten million times faster since then... if those beams werent fast, once they hit something it would explose..but sometimes they go through mountains..there is some speed involved...plus friesa's beam is way faster than ligght

It's not that the eye takes 24 picutres per sec thing.
Light hit's an object bounce into your eye, you see it.
if light cannot hit the object then there will be no picture to transfer.
