Goku: Vulnerable, can shoot lasers(or whatever) out of his hands, can fly, but no where near as fast as Superman. can't breath in space. has a monkey tail(oh wow), not super-strong, and not very smart.

I'm gonna say Superman wins.

and this is juat at ssj1 there are 3 more power and speed increase to follow.......and superman invincible? doomsday beat his ass then killed him...they just showed thor throw a hammer at his face and supes was bleeding...so superman is only invincible to humans and not to superhumans

Sorry pal, you just have to face that Dragonball Z is not in any way, nor has it ever been, meant to be taken seriously. Goku is a joke, an amusing joke at times, but a joke none the less. The same goes for the series. Superman on the other hand is a serious character, filled with drama and emotion. He is someone that you can connect with! Can anyone honestly say they can connect with Goku?
