Good work David, the flash suit aint bad for 3 days worth of work. That guy dressed as Batman... wow, needs to lay off the crispie cremes I think. Looking forward to more on the Begins Suit though...

Cool costumes, David. Flash kinda looks a bit to muscular, though. Good work for three days!

Umm...OK ?????

Let's see....

I make costumes for a living...that means it's my job...even if the ones I usually post here are from my personal collection... even years ago when I made them only for fun or a hobby, I still found it a cool thing to do...as did pretty much anyone who I met, spoke to or hung around with, but I'm really the only one that needs to be pleased with what I do..still, it is humbling when I post pics of my work here and read the comments by everyone. I cant express how happy it makes me when so many of you are so kind with your replies here :).

Thanks again everyone for the support!!!!!

...and for the record....I'm married and havent been a virgin since 1984.

i was sixteen, and it was in the back of an '89 astro van.... :p

Have you seen extra pictures of the costume or something? Because that looks way too cool to be based on some of the pictures we've seen where it's pretty dark.

How are you gonna make the belt? I bet that'll be a challenge.

Awesome work. All your costumes are great but this one is shaping up to be something special.

Wow!!!
That's cool!!!!!

I'm flattered that he based his figure sculpt on my 1:1 scale sculpt!!
I'm going to contact him because I want one!!!

As far as money to me....nope. Not my place. He did his work and if his auction piece sells then all the power to him. I'm just greatful that he's mentioned my name. This was Bob Kane's vision of Batman from 1939...now a days there's people like us who bring these visions to life with our own personal twists. Alex Ross is a big influence to many of us where things like this are concerned.

If anyone knows him, or if he's a member here I'd love to talk with him and possibly get one of these works of art from him.

Thanks for posting this link. :)

I was just giving the eBay guy a bit of a ribbing ;)

NP... I thought you might get a kick out of it. The guy did a hell of a job on the head sculpt considering its 1:6 scale (though I think he got the ears a bit thick - I'm so nitpicky :D) He's also done 1:6 B89 and DE figures:

Thanks buddy!

Yes...I figured it was this guy. Talented big time. I also noticed the thick horns but it still looks Badd ass!!!! There's no question...the influence from my sculpt is there...the brow and over all head shape, neck and sure the horns too....I just love this thing!!!

I really dig the Dead End fellow as well as the Keaton no costume one. I have a good friend of mine who is actually sculpting an 89 figure based entirely on my own 89 costume so knowing that someone else has used my work as inspiration is really very humbling. I emailed this guy through ebay...and I hope he replies. :)

Lot's of talented people out there....and thanks for posting this link. I dont surf Ebay any more so I never would have found this unless tipped off by someone.
