No one wants to be dumped, but do you think it's worse being dumped in person or dumped in a way where the other person isn't there (phone, e-mail, text message, etc.)?

to be honest, I've never really been broken up with . . . I've been shot down plenty of times though and to be honest, I don't really care how that happens . . . it sucks all around

the last 'relationship' I was in, the woman I was dating turned out to be married :~S anyway, she basically just changed her phone number on me which was REALLY bogus to me at first, but after it sunk in, it was pry the best way the situation could have been handled and ended . . .

I recall this one girl who asked me out. Now remember, she asked ME out.

She actually said to me that we should be an "item" because her friends said we'd make a cute couple. So being a go along with the flow kind of guy (in high school at least)... I went along with it. She wrote this long note (do kids still write notes or is it all via text messages?) that justified why we should be a couple.

2 days into our "relationship"... she passes me another note. She all of a sudden does not know what she saw in me and that her friends have no idea what she really wants. Being the go along with the flow kind of guy that I am (was)... I was like, "Uhhh... okay, wow".

In retrospect... I should have at least tried to get in her pants, but at least I got to hook up with one of her "friends" after the fact.

If your relation ship sucks then you can do it on the phone or however seems most fitting to the person ending it.

If one cheated on the other then they don't even deserve to be notified of the breakup. If my gf cheated on me I'd never talk to her again. Because I'd probablly kill her and the guy. (just kidding lol ahahahahahahahahahahaha...kidding...)


And if the relation ship is positive then you should do it in person.

your dating someone whos going to college in say another country/province/state/long ways away, and the plan is for you to come down for the break or w/e, and they dump you when you get there. FRICK just dump me on the phone or something and save me the long drive/flight/money.

p.s. this hasn't happend to me thankfully, but it still pisses me off when i hear about it
