Exactly. I'm not just going out of my way to crap on everything this universe has to offer, because I feel like they nailed Supermans level of power. Batman is fine for the most part but it takes me out of the film when I see Batman having 3 huge fights without ant breathing room, moving around like a champ each time and taking bullets to tbe head (and just grunting it off). Everytime I see a clip from the warehouse scene (one of the scenes I still like from the movie), I just think "BATGOD". Writers usually do this so he can match the heroes around him or even the fantastical villains. He struggled with Doomsday but he was incredibly quick, never seemed out of breath. I liked that he didn't do much damage and was running away. But there's also times when they could written in a scene where he was useful on a non-physical level.

Another thing was the training montage. Which felt like an excuse for Zack to show muscles in his movies. He admitted that the mecha suit is all about survival. Bruce should be working on speed instead of power. The suit does everything and isn't about strength anyway because no matter how buff he gets, it's nothing to Supes. At least make him favor some of his body, cuz you know, he's getting up there in age.

I prefer a Batman who struggles with some rabid dogs, or gets blindsided by the Joker or whatever the case may be. Technology or not, he's a man, and that's the most interesting thing about the character. He's not like the rest of the Justice League. So don't power him up in order to make the character feel as special. Treat him the way he truly is.

Characters have to be challenged. The whole Batgod thing looks cool, but it only works in live action to a certain degree before it becomes boring. It works in a video games context because that's the ultimate hero fantasy. Movies not so much. Having an answer to everything is unrealistic, and defeating every challenge with ease becomes boring. Part of the reason Marvel is deemed to have a villain issue is because they don't make their heroes really struggle. I'd hate to see Batman go the same path, especially since he's got arguably the best villains in all of comics.

And not only did Batman struggle physically, he struggled emotionally.

The Bat has tangled with Swamp Thing on several occasions.

The first time was during the great 1970s Wein/Wrightson run. In #7, "Night of the Bat," ST and Batman are both looking for the same guy, the big cheese of a criminal organization named Mr. E. "Mystery"...haha, geddit?

The second time was during Alan Moore's epic run (with equally epic art by Steve Bissette and John Totleben), in #53, when Abigail was in GCPD custody and ST went into full Swamp-god mode and turned Gotham into one giant exhibit with about as much effort as it takes you to sharpen a pencil. Awesome story. If ST ever gets back into film, this issue would make a great basis for the third film.

He did struggle. He got shot in the arm that made him lose his grappling gun, he got hit by a knife a few times but luckily the cowl can withstand it. Got shot in the head twice, dragged down by his cape and then stabbed. I doubt any of that would've happened 10 years ago.

The last nameless thug pinned to the wall got special VIP treatment as he yelped with Batman's final strike because he was so persistent in taking him on.

After typing all that, I just realized maybe ChristianBat has a chance to beat this old crook.

What if, instead of striving for the arbitrary standards of realism dictated by some random on a forum, Snyder just gave us all the comic-accurate Batman we've all wanted to see...?

This universe has established that Zeus exists. Frankly, I'm glad "realism" is no longer a priority in these films. By all means, give us Batgod. I want to see the mental, psychological, and PHYSICAL powerhouse we all know and love from the comics. I want to see Batman mowing through Parademons with his bare hands, and judging from the pictures we've seen, I think that's EXACTLY what Snyder is going to give us...

I, for one, am thrilled.

At lest when its kind of like Chicago and NY you could believe Superman wouldn't just be flying in every time. But with with Snyder making them like SF and Oakland... How does Batman have a city wide threat without Superman just stopping by and ending it in 2 minutes. Unless they do a prequel.

Of course he can get anywhere fast. My point is more you wouldn't necessarily hear (on TV) about it happening if you are 800 miles away, you probably would with it being right across the bay. So its easier to kind of forget about Superman when he is half way across the country then when he is right next door. In this universe why would Superman trust Batman to handle it?

With the strong likelihood of Black Mask and Joker in Sirens along with the 3 female villains who will be protagonists, unlikely chance of Bane or the al Ghul family showing up in the universe this early and maybe Jason Todd in the Nightwing film I think Deathstroke's chances of being the primary Batman villain are looking good.
