Best/Favorite Ending Scene

Batman Begins
Fight Club
The Dark Knight
The Crow
Casino Royale
On Her Majesty's Secret Service
Hulk

Spider-Man...his final web swing, and his eye blacking out the screen. :geekasm:

The Godfather Part II ending is epic and tragic and....everything. Same goes for The Dark Knight.

Another ending scene I love is from Edward Scissorhands, in the castle on the mountain when Edward kills Jim and Kim tells Edward that she loves him. Heartbreaking.

One of my all time favorites the one from Twilight Zone: The Movie, when they place John Valentine in the ambulance after surviving the gremlin...

off the top of my head

The Prestige the final frame of the final shot really has you guessing at the last possible second if what you think happened is really how it ended. And then Analyze by Thom Yorke comes on and its perfect.

The Thing that final shot of the last two survivers just waiting in the freeze while fire is raging behind them, suuuuuch a great ending.

The Hunt for Red October
Shawshank Redemption
Planet of the Apes
IV: A New Hope
Road to Perdition
The Fugitive
Forrest Gump

Those are some of my favorites, but it's impossible for me to narrow them down to just one.

Don't know if anyone has said it yet, but Batman Returns. The Bat signal in the snow, the theme playing, then Catwoman lifting up. If only we could have seen Michelle's version of Catwoman again. :(

The Bourne Ultimatum-

Whe i saw this i kept on thinking, 'What they killed him' as they showed the body floating in the water.

Then i saw Julia Stiles' smirk.....

Casino Royale-

Same reason as everyone else, the iconic music and the line.

Anyone mentioned the Italian Job? (The original not the remake)

'Old on lads, i've got an idea.....' :word:

Yea the original Italian Job is a classic. The new one was a pile of turd, it just had no charisma like the original.

Star Trek VI. It's just a great shot of the crew (save Sulu) on the bridge, as Kirk speaks his final log entry. It's just a well delivered, fan pleasing scene after they all but prevent a war between the Federation and the Klingons, and they move on for a new "generation" to take over.

Braveheart, great somewhat tragic ending, William Wallace's goal is finally realized, but he died before seeing it.

Ninja Turtles (1990)

The final battle with Shredder was too damn good... when he taunts them about what he did with Splinter... ooo it makes me so mad.

The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly.

Tuco looks up and sees the noose....heh. :)

How has no-one mentioned For a Few Dollars More? Just that music as the colonal and Inigo are facing off gives me the shivers!! I love the watches chime

Aliens. Powerloader vs. Queen battle =

Full Metal Jacket. Eerie.

...Just to bump the thread...

Love 40 Year Old's ending!

Singing, dancing...The whole shebang!

Very nice!

Spider-Man 2 has an amazing ending too. Mary Jane running away from her wedding, J.J.'s comedic moments during it, then Peter and Mary Jane's final scene together in the movie, her speech, finally hearing her say on film ''Go get em tiger." and him swinging off to save the day while she stays behind with a lucky of mixed feelings about the future that's coming for them.

I loved that ending especially with harry finding his father's lair.
