Batman Vs Joker Interrogation
Batman Vs Joker/Swat Team
Bruce Vs Ducard on Ice
Batman Vs Bane Round 1

It was straight out torture...for all those who claim that Batman would never torture someone.

Batman v.s. 2x SWAT teams, Joker Goons all while rescuing hostages (TDK)

Actually Batman killed Talia's driver by straight firing at him with the bat.

Batman vs. Swat, by FAR in my opinion. The logistics of that scene are crazy when you consider the fact that he has to fight the doctors (Joker's goons) to protect SWAT, fight Swat to protect the citizens (in the clown masks), prevent himself from getting shot, and manage to do all of this without killing anyone. Despite the fact that the movie is littered with embarrassingly bad fight scenes (Penthouse, Honk Kong), this fight makes up for all of them.

Having known little about Bane when I first went to see Rises, their first fight scene just floored me.

I still think this poll is weak for not having Batman vs Maroni's men in the night club.

Seeing Batman literally walking through Maroni's men, throwing them off balcony's, taking a beer bottle to the head and walking through it to deliver a head butt and a double handed back fist and other ninja like moves, really pisses me off.

:argh:

Yeah, I love the Maroni fight club scene. Breaking bottles, throwing men over railings and down the stairs etc. The shadowy lighting used as Batman plowed through Maroni's men to get to him.

Great scene.

Batman vs. Scarecrow/Thugs in Arkham! Probably overall the best representation of how Batman fights in real life. Sticks to the shadows, appears everywhere at once and then nowhere, FLYS off with a thug, and dominates Scarecrow! Plus, i like the roll reversal where Crane sees how Batman instills fear in the thugs, Classic!

The Batman Maroni men fight scene in the bar is the best fight scene in TDK... Batman v Bane rounds 1 and 2 are in 2nd and 1st place for me overall!

Not to sound dogmatic, but I'm really surprised anyone voted for the Honk Kong or Penthouse fights. As much as I love TDK, those scenes are atrocious. I still have a hard time believing they were choreographed by professionals

The mud fight is my top
Batman vs Ra's in the train
Batman in Wayne's penthouse
Batman vs Bane, both rounds

I think that most of the fights in TDKR put the other two films to shame. Kudos to Nolan for addressing one of the prior films weaker aspects.

I always thought Nolan did a fantastic job with fight scenes, ESPECIALLY in Batman Begins (yes, I'm serious). My favourite fight is actually the quick fight he has with the LoS ninjas near the end of "Batman Begins" right after he tells Ras, "I can take two of your pawns". It's just so exciting to watch, you KNOW he's going to beat them with ease and the editing, the music all bring it home. Even the sound effects of the punches and kicks on armour against armour sounds great.

Quick? Batman moved around like a robot.

Efficient? For an average guy, perhaps.

Batman was quick, tactical and efficient during the SWAT scene but he was far from that when it came to The Joker and his goons.

The only tactical thing Batman did in the penthouse fight was he was able to sneak into the room without anybody noticing, enough to even surprise the Joker and Rachel. After that he got clumsy, my first impression was, "Batman took out an entire League of Shadows AND their leader Ra's al Ghul but he has trouble beating a handful of the Joker's street thugs?"

Batman V Joker/Thugs ("Then your gonna love me!")

I probably should have picked the fight with Bane from this one where Batman is defeated, but for some reason that lovingly chaotic fight between Batman and the Joker and his goons in the Penthouse in The Dark Knight has always struck me as my favorite. It's complex enough to be interesting, but shot in a way that it IS followable (unlike so many other fights in that movie). Plus, I mean, the Joker has a knife pop out of his shoe. That's pretty awesome. Also I like how he holds that revolver up to Rachel's head. I like how Batman destroys the goons. I like the joke about the poor choice of words and how Batman jumps out the window. It's all just a very good scene somehow.

To me, it was between the fight in the docks in the first movie and the first fight with Bane, but this one is what came to mind when I read the title of the thread. So, that.

As good as Bane VS Batman I was, my favorite fight scene is Liam Neeson and Christian Bale in the Ice Battle.
Scenery, dialogue, AND excitement rival Bane/Batman I.
