Did you take the time to learn the combo's and aerial combat? MK Armageddon is the fastest paced of any of the 3d MK's and if you get all the combo's down, and learn how to string together some good stuff, it really isn't that slow at all. I played Tekken as well, and I think that game feels more stiff. Another fighting game that isn't so hot is Marvel Nemesis. I felt that game was pretty unresponsive. It's better on the PSP though
Armageddon is the worst of the current gen MK games. Deception was the best and had a better combo system. Armageddon butchered it

Overall, Deception is the best 3d MK game. But after seeing the speed of MKA, and the wake-up game, and the aerial kombat...I just can't go back to Deception and Deadly Alliance as much.

I'll admit my knowledge is limited, but I need some kind of gratification early on, I don't want tto have to learn a massive combo just to get past the first round on arcade mode.

If you don't want to memorize combo's you should be playing MK Armageddon lol. The previous game, MK Deception, had combo's that were over twice as long as the ones in MKA.

Sounds fun.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT!!!!

I'm wondering why you've focussed on the gross part, when he's surroundedby hotties?

soul blade is the best fighting game i've ever played...

the only good thing about street fighter is that it is an international thing which has no language barrier.
you could pick up a controller and bond with someone you can't even speak with because every gaming young male is fluent in the art of street fighting.

except for that and the nostalgia, i don't think it brings much to the table, certainly nothing major since like the alpha series.

Kind of hard not to notice when it's bright neon green lol don't you worry, I gave the hotties a thorough inspection.

Thats a great summary of Street Fighter for me. Simple, and universal, but not really that deep. Which for me, not being a fighter fan makes it ace.

Is anyone fans of Rival Schools or Project Justice?

Loved Rival Schools. Too bad Capcom didnt do much with the series. I had it for PS1 and the sequel for Dreamcast. I dont we'll ever see another game but Id love it if they brought it to next gen.

Speaking of Capcom 3D fighters, anyone else love Star Gladiators?

Dead or Alive not being included in abolutely appropreate!

I agree with everything you said.
Also, Star Gladiators was cool.
That's where we got Hayato from.

One of the best games EVER for PSone, IMO, was Tekken 3. My dad and I would play that game from around 3PM-midnight straight, without really stopping. It was so damn fun, and I could OWN as Eddy Gordo. One time, I went through the whole game without losing any health at all.

Eddy = Cheap victory

I doubt there's a character who's cheaper than Eddy. I think even my mother beat me with Eddy. >_>
