In the spirit of the other poll (best of the original three superhero movies) let's vote on the best of the modern era.

X2: X-Men United (2003)
Spider-Man 2 (2004)
Batman Begins (2005)
Other

Spider-Man 2 is my vote.

Batman Begins is going to win.

Batman Beings. Scarecrow was one of my favorites that Mr. Burton sadly never got around to, so I was glad to see him on the big screen. The ninja training and Ra's Al Ghul were simply amazing.

Batman Begins... Great Cast, Great Story, Great Director, etc...

I like all (apart from Superman his so overrated)

But being the die hard X-men fan I am (not so much with X3 though lol) My vote is for X2 I loved it :D

THE BEST SUPERHERO MOVIE?

THAT'S A PRETTY HARD ONE TO REALLY PEG RIGHT.
HERE'S MY PERCEPTION:

MY ANSWERS ARE BASED ON SHEER EXCITEMENT OF THE MOVIE COMING OUT(in the first place).
THEN MY RATING(STARS)1-4

1] SPIDERMAN 4 STARS
2] DAREDEVIL 2.5 STARS(BEN AFFLECK?)
3]X-MEN 3.5 STARS
4]FANTASTIC FOUR 2 STARS
5]FF2 SILVER SURFER 3 STARS(SURFER RULES!)

WITH THAT SAID THE SEQUELS TO SPIDEY AND X-MEN WERE ON THEIR OWN, GREAT FILMS(THE LATTER GREW ON ME AFTER THE 3RD VIEWING)

DAREDEVIL WAS O.K. BUT AFFLECK KINDA RUINED IT FOR ME(KEVIN SMITH WAS A COOL CAMEO W/BEING A WRITER AT ONE TIME AND ALL)
IF YOU LOOK CLOSELY YOU CAN SEE JAY AND SILENT BOB IN THE BAR SCENE!) JUST KIDDING!

FF#1 BLEW CHUNKS
HULK WAS VERY UNEVEN AND KIND OF CRAPPY (THE OUTSIDE CHASE SCENES ARE TOTALLY AWESOME!)
GHOST RIDER IS GROWING ON ME NOW THAT'S ON DVD(DECENT EFFECTS)
GOTTA LOVE NICK CAGE!
PUNISHER WAS GOOD I THOUGHT.

I'M OUT OF MATERIAL!

NOTICE:
ELECTRA WAS THE WORST OF THEM ALL!!!!!!!!

Batsy Begins.

I love Hulk so much, I liked the style and the charecters are lovable...but I voted other, Spider-man 1 is my favorite, but out of the list up there I'd say Batman Begins.

i Totally Forgot Those "other" Films (dc)

1] Superman (original's) 1 And 2
(im Old Enough To Say That I Saw Them In The Theatre!)
2]batman 1 & 2 (i Kinda Liked Tim Burton's Camp)

are There Any Other Hero Movies That Besides Those Two Above That Are'nt Sequels (i Think Not)

Decent New Ones Are
Superman Returns (brian Fischer Will Do The Franchise Justice)

Batman Begins Was O.k. Like The Detailed Origin, great Actors, the Effect's Were O.k. Not Great (the Climax Was A Little Weak)

Weve Seen Batman In Too Many Movies Already!!

Time For Another Hero Already!!

i Want To See :

aquaman
flash
firestorm
hawkman
wonderwoman(natalie Portman Anyone?)
swamp Thing (time Is Right For Another 2)
jla

give These Guys A Chance For A Franchise!!!

This poll sucks. Put the better modern comicbook movies up there, then you'll se a contest.

Anyone with half decent taste will tell you those are the top three movies people are going to pick.

Don't worry, the "others" option is for those who have no taste.

bah. You'll see. when the dark knight comes out. everyone will take off their blinders and see how average batman begins was.

the best choice on that poll is x-men united though it has its faults. beats both spidey 2 and bb easily.

BB is the best, my Fav would be The Hulk but BB was nearly flawless

Since we're going with the "mordern era", and I'm taking that to mean any movie after Blade, then it would have to be SM2 with BB a good distance behind in 2nd place and X2 bringing up 3rd. Superman 1 beats them all by miles though, but again, it's not in the same era.

Go Spidey!!!

I said X2. Solid direction, script, effects, and acting. Raimi has a tendency to allow overacting in his movies, and while that's sometimes appropriate, it didn't really fit in Spidey. BB suffered from too much exposition in the third act, and the editing of fight sequences and the car chase left something to be desired.

That's just an objective critique. If I had to pick a personal favorite, though, it'd be Begins.

X2 and Spider-Man 2 are basically tied with me. BB is slightly below them just because I wasn't a big fan of the fight scenes (Although it's still great). Because X2 is probably going to get mauled on this poll, I'll go ahead and give it a sympathy vote.

X2!!!! :xmen: :cyclops: :wolverine
