Best Twist/Shock Endings

Did anyone mention "The Others"?
Even though madTV spoiled that ending for most.
Yup, its been mentioned and i saw it coming too.:woot:

This makes me wish we had a "lamest twist endings" thread, just so I could put High Tension and The Prestige in there. :p

Wizard of Oz was like, "whoa, wtf? Why didn't i notice those characters before?"
2001 a space oddysey's ending was so ****ed up, but then when I read about it it made some more sense.
There haven't been that many good shock endings in a while, and I think that's because people try too hard. Especially in horror movies.

Reservoir dogs, kinda caught me off guard with it's revealing
I would call the ending a twist, but it is a great ending.

Anyone mentioned Oldboy?

Awesome movie. Sick ending.

I just saw Crywolf on one of my many movie channels, and I actually liked it. I kinda saw that ending coming ever since Dojo kissed the conselor, but it was still a great ending and a pretty good movie.

The most recent twist ending that impressed me the most was the end of the original Saw.

I didn't see that one coming and it pretty much blew my mind.

Yeah, Saw still wins, though, hands down.
Anybody else seen Crywolf?

southpark, bigger longer and uncut...honestly who thought they would see kenny unmasked. :oldrazz:

Yeah I saw it. I was pleasantly surprised by that movie too. It wasn't great or anythign, but I expected it to be awful. And yeah I suspected the ending of it. I actually thought it would have been a better ending if they would have just left the twist at the very end out, but it didn't ruin it or anything.

Its pretty good. You should check it out.
I'll check if my local video store has it when i pay my next visit.:yay:

I stayed away from all the Batman Begins spoilers, but even I knew that Liam was Ras. It was easy to figure out, Ras is a main villian for Batman, why would they hire an unknown (the asian guy) to be him and have Liam be his second in charge? It didn't make sense, now if they had cast a very famous actor as the leader of the group (say Sean Connery), then I might have fallen for it.
are you an idiot or what? the point was that hte fake ras was played but the saem actor that played in the last samurai, people knew who he was. so that was the whole point.

i can nto belive how you in one post wanted to be a smartass and just looked like an i...t.

I watched Greedy (Michael J. Fox and Kirk Douglas) for the first in a long time the other night. It still is a shocker.:woot:

Identity and The Others.

Another ending that suprised me was The Hulk..i was suprised i sat through that pile of **** to the ending.. :o

Just wondering, whay has no one mentioned

THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION

Which movies ending left you confused, shocked or just deeply saddened?

My all time favorite twist is from EMPIRE STRIKES BACK When Darth Vader says those Memorable words to Luke Skywalker "No. *I* am your father."

Yeah, i love this movie, though it was a total failure in box office and critics' rates.

Douglas was the best part of film

Would a best shock/twist ending be this:

The Frighteners

That's such a great film and the circumstances change significantly all with a cleverly-written script and foreshadowing without being obvious. Of course if you don't understand what I'm talking about - you obviously have to watch it yourself ;)

Are you talking about the Michael J. Foxx movie? There was a twist?

I think you're getting that confused with The Sixth Sense.
