Pretty simple topic in your own opinion what is the best twist ending your ever saw.

Here mine:

Sin City
When I saw this in the movies we all didn't expect The Salesman to show up at the end.

SAW - I knew of the ending before hand. But I got caught up with the film I nearly had a heart attack because my heart was racing.

American Psycho

The Sixth Sense

What's yours?

The twist ending in Skeleton Key was pretty good.

Let's see...

Matchstick Men
Witness Of The Prosocution
The Gift
In The Heat Of The Night
The Last Seduction
A Simple Plan
The Sting
The Usual Suspects
Body Double
House Of Games
The Game

So are the rest of the movies I've listed...I didn't care for The Prestige,a little predictible, and no I've haven't read the book.

American Psycho doesn't have a twist ending.
He killed those people

The ambiguity was unintentional
Listen to the Killer Edition commentary with the director

Matchstick Men is my favorite.

Usual Suspects is a close second.

Usual Suspects
The Prestige

i was honestly shocked as hell when i found out people were surprised by the ending of the sixth sense. they show the guy die at the very beginning of the movie, and then people are all "WTF? He's dead?!"

Saw Trilogy
Se7en
The Sixth Sense
Unbreakable
The Usual Suspects
The Prestige
The Devil's Advocate
Don't Look Now
When A Stranger Calls(The intro twist is by far the creepiest and most frightening revelations in cinema history.)

If you're going to count "head-in-box" as a "twist", then...Se7en. That effed me up for a few days.

I can't even remember the last good "twist" I saw. :csad:

Pretty much everything that's been listed thus far was obvious from the beginning, so I wouldn't call them "twists". They were WANNABE "twists".

I'd never seen "The Usual Suspects" before my friend forced me to watch it.
Since I didn't know it was suPPOSED to have a "twist", I liked that. :)*shrug*

Some ******s have called the original Wicker Man a twister. That's by far the best "movie" mentioned so far, but it wasn't a "twist"......it was a "surprise".

Twilight Zone had the best "twists".
Also, I hope M.Night Shawmalingus dies pretty soon.

His "twists" are 5 year old.:down

Some good ones were mentioned such as Usual Suspects, Fight Club, Memento and about any M. Knight movie...but the greatest is the one not mentioned so far...Planet of the Apes.....and NO, not the version Burton tried to pass off.

Please, that is merely your opinion. I will say a lot of the twists that have been listed are my personal favorites and I don't care what anyone says about the SAW twists, no one knew those were coming and if they did they had prior knowledge from someone who had seen it or decided to read spoilers.

I don't care what anyone says. No one knew the ending in Saw 1, 2, or even 3 for that matter.

The original Wicker Man twist can be considered a twist. The film is just weird in itself and is downright creepy.

I agree predictable. Too muddled aswell. Very dumb idea.

Saw II and III, yes..I predicted those before they happened without any prior knowledge. You get to the point that you are looking for the twist, so the entire movie, you are scrutinizing, putting it together. At least I did.

Saw II is somewhat predictable.

Amanda being the new apprentice is very obvious. As she's not affected by the gas at all, but the fact that the whole event was pre-recorded and Matthew's son was in the safe the whole time? No one knew that, even when Jigsaw said he's in a safe place.

SAW 3's ending tops it all. I don't think anyone figured that out quite as easily to be honest. The twist shocked the hell out of me at least. The fact that he was testing Amanda and then kidnapped Jeff's daughter is shocking.

I have never seen Saw 1, 2, or 3......so.....

But you can't deny,...it'd be pretty impossible to act like you were breathlessly dead for that long.

But, eff it, if you liked The Wicker Man, you're all right in my book.

I can't believe I didn't seen the twist coming in Matchstick Men. It's so blatantly obvious, but maybe that's a testament to Scott's ability to suck you in and make you care about the characters first.

Brilliant movie.

People don't always die because of a gunshot. We have no reason to believe he's dead, which is what made the twist awesome.

I almost always hate twist endings, but I liked Unbreakable's.

What would the twist be in that one?

That Mr. Glass was responsible for all the disasters?
