A big meh (these were more like huge disappointments which probably biased my opinion a bit. Watchmen should be here but its better than these):
Ponyo 5/10

Worst:
Transformers 0/10
Wolverine 0.0000001/10

I'm dying to see inglorious basterds and up in the air (I actually had a free advanced screening to up in the air but couldnt make it :csad: )

Movie that made too much money:
Night at the Museum 2
Alvin and the Chipmunks 2

Star Trek
X-men origins Wolverine

Best:

1. Inglourious Basterds
2. Up in the Air

6. The Hangover
7. District 9
8. Star Trek

12. Public Enemies

(I still need to see Crazyheart).

Worst (that I've seen at least some of):

1. Gamer
2. Transformers 2
3. Friday the 13th
4. Halloween II
5. Law Abiding Citizen
6. Wolverine
7. GI Joe: Rise of the Cobra
8. Twilight Saga: New Moon

6. Wolverine
7. GI Joe: Rise of the Cobra
8. Twilight Saga: New Moon

Both of those made almost 400 million dollars...

Hmm... but i kindof expected more...

Wolverine could have did better, if not for the piracy saga...

And i expected Star Trek to do at least 500M like Iron Man...

Best :
Brothers
Sherlock Holmes
Harry Potter 6
Zombieland
Inglorious Basterds

Pretty Good :
Angels and Demons
Wolverine

Worst, Abomintaions to mankind :
Street Fighter : LOCL (and yet, my love for KK has made me purchase it :o )
Dragonball
New Moon
Friday the 13th

I'll only judge what I've seen...because obviously I will never be caught dead watching crap like Alvin And The Chipmunks 2. So just assume that I've not seen those types of movies and don't plan to. Ever.

Ok so my tops of 2009...only what I've seen and in no real order...
Hurt Locker
District 9
Star Trek
Avatar
Hangover
500 Days Of Summer
Watchmen Ext. Cut
Zombieland
Adventureland
Sherlock Holmes
Inglorious Basterds
Away We Go
Public Enemies (gets a pass just barely)

Overrated:
Up
Paranormal Activity

Meh fests and disappointments:
Transformers 2 (though I was entertained in IMAX only @ Midnight show)
Terminator Salvation...it lacked two things...a good story and a hard R rating...dvd's R rating was about as impressive as Die Hard 4.
Underworld 3...if only Len Wiseman directed and it had a bigger budget.
Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince...WB's officially doesn't give S*** anymore. They just wanted it made as fast as they could.
Wolverine...not even the return of Bryan Singer for First Class can save Xmen from Fox can it?

The straight up WORST that I saw...
GI Joe
and Halloween II.

The rest is all a blur. But there were still plenty I did not see

Wow, a lot of you guys really hate Paranormal Activity. Overrated or not, I thought it was a pretty good scary movie considering the shoestring budget. I also thought the actors were good. Maybe it wasn't the Most Terrifying Movie Ever like some people claim it to be, but I'd rather watch Parnormal Activity than dogsh** like The Unborn any day of the week.
