I hope they surprise us with that title, and make it an enigma instead of using it -as always- for Ridddler

Subverting expectations is only as good as the strength of the surprise...
After all this time with your older avatar, the sudden change got me thinking you're someone else :p

I hope it's a good surprise

Some more art...

Shane Glines If you’re a fan of Warner Bros. Animation’s DC Comics work, then you’re already a fan of Shane Glines. Since 1996, he’s been working as a character designer on shows like Superman: The Animated Series, The New Batman Adventures, Batman Beyond and Justice League Unlimited, and now, he’s hard at work on the new Beware the Batman.

Over at his Facebook page, Glines has been posting some incredible sketches of Beware’s cast of characters, including Batman, Commissioner Gordon, and now, the all-new Magpie. Many of these are clearly experiments and studies, but even Glines’ throwaways are incredible to behold. Check ‘em out below!

For more, keep an eye on Glines’s Facebook page, and if you haven’t already, check out his work with Paul Dini and Bruce Timm on the great Harley and Ivy mini-series from a while back. There’s a good reason he’s one of our favorites here at CA.

Tara Strong tweeted that she's reprising Barbara Gordon for BTB. It looks like she debuts in this coming episode.

I had very low expectations for this, and it at least was considerably better than my expectations. I couldn't get past the first episode of B:TBATB, but I'll be sticking around a while longer on this one. The animation/art style isn't really my preference and this Alfred isn't really connecting with me, though.

Do i even need to say anything? Pure win!

I'm guessing Barbara at first, Batgirl in later episodes?

Wow, I never heard of this until I saw it at the top of this forum

You're in luck, they only aired the first episode

Color me impressed. This was pretty damn cool.

Of course people are gonna just whine and whine and whine about changes and the animation and not the actual content of the show, but that is to be expected.

This could shape up to be a really great show. The animation itself is pretty impressive. Yes, it does suffer from feeling empty at times, but the overall atmosphere and tone is impressive. I like the way the Bat suit looks and is lit. Alfred is given a great upgrade. It's serious and mature and the voice acting is all good.

I am looking forward to this episode, I don't feel it will make or break the show for me, as I plan to at least watch the first 6-7 of them before I make a judgement.

As I recently cut out Revolution, I'll need something to fill in that time slot haha.

Alfred, doesn't feel like Alfred, Batman still feels like Batman. Which I find interesting, because if everyone else hadn't changed, and Batman was different. I wouldn't give this show a second thought.

Guess the power of characters :o.

This might be the only high quality version of this batman figure before the REAL "Beware the batman" toy line starts.

LOL at Zur-En-Arrh in the back. It looks like he's going to hit batman with his bat
