I see. And Runaway swas never in the Marvel Next category... they were from that Tsunami line that Mystique, New Mutants, and Sentinel were a part of. (I think it was called Tsunami)

Yeah, it was originally TSUNAMI, which tanked too. Apparently, its no longer the 90's and "lines" don't sell comics on their own anymore. Hopefully it is a lesson that Marvel is starting to learn.

Tsunami was sort of Marvel's attempt at creating a manga line...even though most of the titles weren't in manga style

consisted of Human Torch, Venom, Mystique, Runaways, Namor, Sentinel, and I think thats it

thats a good thing...although i did like the idea of the first human torch story, introducing mike snow. but the dialogue was just awful. so many fire related puns i wanted to vomit

The only stuff from Tsunami that I read was Runaways, Mystique, the first couple issues of Venom, and one we forgot to mention Emma Frost. Well, Emma was okay at first but sucked later. Venom sucked. Mystique was good but got old fast for me... and Runaways is still one of the best titles out.
