I saw this movie a couple of days ago and loved it,this is a great movie, especially in the relationship department. I don't know why it was panned in general from the critics and I also think that from a sci-fi stand point that it's one of the best movies in relation to that despite being very heavy concerning drama. The consensus for it at rotten tomatoes was basically off the mark imo,I thought that every emotion in the movie was genuine and felt that it was very fresh in it's execution, hell this thing even had twists that I never saw coming. The only thing that I hate about it is that one scene with the new face. I honestly thought that this movie would end up having a mild amount of cheese in it,but I was glad to find out that that wasn't the case once the tone shifted.

For those of you who have seen this,I would like to know what you think of this movie. I really really really really really hope that I am not in the minority here who loves the movie so much.

I liked it very much, the robot parts were amazing (great costume work there). I did not know that Robin was actually in the suit and was just doing a voiceover. great visuals, GREAT music by James Horner, you notice the style of the music changes after "Andrew" becomes a android, and I even liked the Seline Dion song at the end.

:)

I liked it too. An extremely sentimental film!

Possibly one of the most underrated films of all time.

i didnt like this movie at all...
reminded me of A.I, except even more boring (if that was even possible)

the practical fx were pretty good though.

It was a great film... kind of got annoying when my Grade 12 teacher kept trying to explain exactly what was being shown on screen... it was like we were blind so we needed play-by-plays, hahaha.

I remember only liking the bits with Sam Neil.

i think it had good effects and a good performance by Williams.

I remember seeing this movie years ago when I was rather little and that it felt almost endless.

I remember renting this when I was maybe four or five just because of the robot on the cover, and found it boring as hell. I need to rewatch it.

Never liked this movie, one of Christopher Colombus' most soulless films (which is bad considering the guy's penchant for sappiness).
