Ten-Minute Demo Gameplay

A solid ten minutes of gameplay from BioShock Infinite's demo!

Discussions in session.

Oscorp, you should definitely play the first Bioshock, it's a very excellent and engaging game. A modern classic to say the least.
Seconded.

P.S. What does "discussions in session" mean exactly?

It's just my catch phrase from when I was a reporter for the x men web site Mutatis Mutandis. it just mean go head say your thoughts after I'm done posting. well I still sorta re port. some of it goes on national tv for the electric playground that victor lucas runs along with Reviews on the run. it was also where Geoff keeghly(speeling I have ahard time with that last name of his) of game trailers used to work before he became the main host for game trailers.

Yeah he used to work in canada for a bit field repoter for that show.

I just finished watching the gameplay demo. MY FREAKING MIND IS BLOWN AWAY!!!!!:awesome:

It looked amazing but a lot of that had to be scripted...

RIGHT!?!?!?

I have no problem with scripted moments, especially when they are as awesome as some of that was. I love games that provide an awesome scripted-set piece experience wrapped around fun gameplay, like Uncharted 2.

THIS!!!:awesome::up:

The scripted events seem to be pretty seamlessly woven into the gameplay. It's amazing.

I'm curious as to what all was scripted. There was just too much in there that was obviously scripted, or at least suspicious. Not like that's a bad thing though, I don't expect a random sandbox the likes of GTA or RDR.

And what Happy Jack said.

Anyone else catch this in the gameplay demo?

Wow, whoever noticed that with the blur effect and crazy eyes mist be a damn alien. Or went through each individual frame, which just would make him/her dangerously obsessive.:oldrazz:

Btw, I love that Levine is so focused on not playing it safe. Idk about everyone else, but I like the idea of my character talking, instead of having an a##-load of one-way radio conversations throughout the game. That, the focus on fighting throngs of enemies, plus having a cool ally who is actually helpful (RE4 is one of my favorite games of all time, but I loved it when Ashley got recaptured, useless ****e:cmad:) are all stellar concepts in my opinion.

I'm particularly interested on how all of the different abilities and guns will be accessed without a wheel. I can't think of a game that really lets you access more than 8 at a time, in MGS4 you can technically have 50+ weapons but only like 7 can be equipped at once. I don't see the need for more than 8 weapons, as long as they cover the spectrum. Not that I'm opposed to around 15 guns, but I prefer quality over quantity in this case.

And I almost to forget to say how badass Him is. He knocked over that bell when he landed like it was nothing! He looks to be the most interesting "Nemesis" character I've ever seen. Can't wait until they put out a demo on PSN (they put out one for Bioshock, so I can dream).

The notion with the tears sounds great. I hope that we get to see the demo in motion at E3.

Game is looking incredible. That 10 minute demo is still incredible to look at.

I already have the first game, but for anyone who doesn't, that'd be an awesome deal. Anyway, liking what I'm seeing thus far from the game. Looks like I may even pick it up, as opposed to just renting it like the second game.

The first person to detect the homage on the cover gets a gold star. :yay:
