I somehow do not trust any of these reviews but anyway, I'm biased I think I'm gonna pass on this one, not my cup of tea at all, the more I see of it the less I want to see it.

I hope it does well if only because I want the DC brand to get back on track.

And I'm glad there's appareantly no Jared Leto in this movie. **** him.
DC brand been back on track for awhile now.

Grace Randolph has a problem with everything. She comes across as an insanely jealous psycho of a woman. Can't stand her.
Grace was never going to like this movie. Similar to lots of fans on this message boards she wanted a comic book accurate BOP vs Gotham Sirens movie. Then when rumors came out that Black Mask was gay she championed him represent a true “gay” character not “camp” The fact that she said the movie is average is a good indicator that movie will be at least worth the ticket to see it. Remember she just killed Rise of Skywalker and was not a big fan of Captain Marvel either.

Rise of Skywalker is not good to me. Captain Marvel is fine I guess, but Grace isn't my favorite person by any means.

I actually like her she is entertaining. I don’t agree with most things she says but she makes me laugh with her ridiculous takes.

Grace confirmed she prepared her review and it will be a “fresh” review on RT...

Grace Randolph is a bit of a conundrum to me. There are times when I do find myself agreeing with her and other times when I just go “WTF?!”

Don’t hate or like her. She can be entertaining or just downright annoying at times

In all fairness, Jimmy Palmiotti loves every DC movie. He was praising the Jonah Hex movie back in the day, if I recall correctly.

That being said, the positive word of mouth from other people may convince me to see it...

Pre-sales are not amazing. WB should just release the embargo. The seemingly positive reactions will help.

This movie doesn't have any iconic and popular (among general audiences) DC figures, to draw in the audiences, besides Harley herself. I feel this movie would have benefited by a guest appearance of Leto's Joker.

So a opening around 50 mil. is to be expected and that's not bad. If this tweet is to be believed, the tracking now is at 60 mil. (which is good)

Seems fair lol as you can guess I wasnt a fan of either.

Will hold out hope for this though as I think I have already said before I have no feeling on if it will be good or bad, will be going to see it next week most likely.

I wanted a Mad Love movie with Joker and Poison Ivy fighting over Harley’s affection. Make it a Dark/comedy and it would have been the perfect Valentine’s Day movie. I am going to see it Thursday. Rise of Skywalker left a bad taste in my mouth so hopefully this will be good.

Oh now see they should have you directing lol, I personally would have much preferred like yourself a story more focused around Harley & Ivy.

But I am still looking forward to seeing how this turns out, judgement reserved until viewing.

she did say Oracle, not Barbara as Bitgirl?
gosh i wish it'll make enough money to build a franchise around.

Grace has a bit of a women problem IMO (see also her treatment of Jessica Chastain). She's been against this movie on that basis for a while (it's always been the wrong type of feminine - not a pretty feminine and she's railed against the hair and clothes of the women).

I watch her channel frequently but I'm growing very tired of her. Particularly after her video on BOP and gay/lesbian representation where she spoke on behalf of a minority she doesn't represent and change the course and content of this film (I'm gay). She continued to do this today on twitter, as her main criticism of the film was that the representation didn't go far enough.

This is a good point. As a member of the LGBTQ community too, I often get frustrated when movies and TV shows cop out when they have an opportunity at good representation. That said, Grace seems like one of those people who has an agenda against certain films and actors and will pounce on a hot button issue just to sabotage something she was set against from the get-go. Like you said, she's not (as far as I know) LGBTQ but in this instance she seems to be acting offended on the community's behalf just to get some attention and to attack the movie.

More RT critics:

I'd like to point out three things:

  1. These aren't just "positive", they're glowing:
  2. They're not "cherry-picked"; and
  3. They're all men.

Someone posted on BOT that they saw a TV spot airing in the UK which had ratings/quotes from three UK based RT critics:

Jamie East, The Sun: 4/5 “A fantastic assault on the senses”

Total Film: 4/5

Radio 1: “Margot Robbie is brilliant as Harley Quinn”

More RT critics

(she works for Total Film, but has only posted one review to RT and from her twitter seems to disprove of it)

I just love the fact that Critics want to see a Perfect comic book movie every-time. Also, I'm surprised that people are still mad at Suicide Squad.

I'd like to point out two things:

1 . It's been 4 years since SS, I don't know why some people bring it up like it was released Last year.

2. The movie for all it's faults did mange to get approval of a section of fans, it "won" an Oscar, it was financially successful, and It launched the SS franchise and is responsible for mainstream popularity of Harley Quinn.

You don't like Suicide Squad ? Fine, Birds of Prey is a different movie, earlier creative team is not involved in it, go and watch it and make up your own mind.
