Frankly, I'm so bored that I cannot wait for some crazy DC movies, I liked Joker, and this is a different type of craziness but as long as it's fun and engaging, I'm fine.

The Wonder Woman embargo was a couple of days before release originally, but they moved it up due to the positive social media reaction. WB are most likely planning the same with Birds of Prey, especially if the social media embargo lifts a week and a half before the film releases. If they were terrified the film was god awful, they’d have the social media AND review embargo lift two days before the film.

If they feel it's really awful they would lift it on the day similar to Cats and Rise of Skywalker (I think), same with social embargo. 2 days is standard practice for WB, remember Apocyalypse lifted a month earlier with 40% RT.

Aquaman and JL both had about 2 days gap, Aquaman killed it in China, and Joker got the push with the golden lion win. Heck, even SS got trashed but made 745M without China, it just depends on how the audience react.

And lol at the Shazam comment, it was brilliant on RT then nobody showed up.

Just an instinct, but South America will give this one a big push. Taiwan and HK will take a hit though, some will choose to stay home amidst the SARI attack, tho not huge markets anyway

That date is a placeholder considering there's apparently press screenings with no embargo dates listed on them happening next week. Also when WB isn't confident they lift the review and social media embargo on the same day like they did with JL.

Also there's a user on Reddit who saw it yesterday (has proof) he said he went in expecting it to be awful and had low expectations but he ended up enjoying it. He said Black Mask, Harley & Cass were the standouts. Harley obviously had the most screen time but he felt she didn't steal the spotlight form the rest. His gripes were that he wanted more Dinah/Helena & some parts were too fast or slow but the action scenes, score & music were all great. He ranked it 4th on his personal DCEU list with the list looking like this but he rates AQ, BOP & Shazam on the same level so they all can be interchangeable.
