Bizarre Search Engine Problem

Every time I go to a search engine and click on a link that comes up I get redirected to a different site than I intended. It is sometimes a commercial site and often a malware site. I have been hit by trojans three times. I am running five different antivirus/antispyware programs and none of them will find the cause. The stuff that I am hit with after getting redirected they catch but not what is redirecting me. I am currently running: AVG free, Spybot S & D, AdAware, Malwarebytes, and SuperAntiSpyware. The redirection works on Firefox and Safari for Windows but the one time that I tried it on Explorer it worked the way it should.

have you tried uninstalling firefox and safari and reinstalling them? maybe its somewhere in one of their plugins or something?
