Sony Spin-Off Black Cat/Silver Sable spinoff film

http://splashreport.com/exclusive-glimpse-sony-marvel-universe/

Silver and Black is the setup for an all female Spidey-verse team movie. It ends with Silver Sable (a la Nick Fury) rounding up a team of The Black Cat, Jessica Drew (Spider-Woman), Charlotte Witter (Stunner), Sarah Ehret (Jackpot) and Cassie St. Commons (Dusk).

Mainly because nobody expected Sony to be this ****ing stupid.

Then again, that's probably on us, given their track record.

I've lost all faith in Sony to the point where they are guilty until proven innocent. Or in their case, stupid until proven otherwise.

A Sony female Spiderverse without Spider-Man sounds so ridiculous that I wouldn't believe it if was from anyone else but Sony.

I'd be more peeved they tackled the Spider-Verse first, but that's just one report.

Sony just chases whatever the latest trend is without actually trying to create something good.

The Dark Knight comes out. They try to make ASM like that.

Avengers come out. They try to make ASM2 like that. Create a shared universe.

Deadpool comes out. They resurrect Venom and make it an R-rated movie.

Wonder Woman comes out. Announce an all female universe.

I expect by the time Aquaman comes out, they'll announce a movie based on the time Uncle Ben went fishing.

I don't like this as a spiderman movie but will stay tuned to the news on this.

What they're doing here perhaps can be kind of likened to the female ghost buster's spinoff.

Would that be the female Ghostbusters that has been estimated to have lost Sony $70 million? :cwink:

Very exciting news!... If you're a Stunner, Dusk or Jackpot fan, which you probably aren't because there's no such thing as a Stunner, Dusk or Jackpot fan.

Again, is this even real?

Is Splash Report looking to make a bigger name for itself compared to everyone else with all these sudden rumors or exclusives they're getting? Either way, I'm taking any news from them with a grain of salt. Their 'source,' huh?

More often than not, especially with comic films, these rumors end up being false.

Can anyone dress like a Goblin a throw a couple of pumpkin bombs in Sony's headquarters? You will do a world a favor.
You either die as a villain or you live long enough to become a hero.

Yeah, not understand the logic so trying find some perspective on this but pretty difficult.

No one's really debunking the splashreport rumors from Sony so must have some relevancy even if not 100%.

Ah yes, that was so well-received and and successful...:whatever:

Yep.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.

After Black Panther they will make a Kraven movie.

This is why they always fail.

I feel like the Black Cat and Silver Sable with Jessica Drew could lead to a very good/interesting movie. Will Sony be able to do that? Probably not. I don't think spinning off into a all female Spider-Man group film is a good idea, as most of the characters are unknown and don't bring anything interesting to the table.

They might be very minor characters in the scheme of things, but each has their own appeal. In particular, Stunner had an interesting dynamic with Ock.

How many people are lining up to buy a Stunner solo title? Let alone go see her movie for $30 after popcorn and drinks?

No one.
