I didn't think the character was strong enough to warrant a solo film when I saw Iron Man 2. I still don't.

I-for-one don't really think her in Iron Man 2 warrants her character enough justice. We barley saw her potential in the breaking into HAMMER scene.

Oh and, since I'm at least 50% sure they're going a winter solider route, she'll most likely be his love interest.

I honestly don't see why people hate on ScarJoe. Her Black Widow, minus the Russian accent (which would have just been too damn sexy), was amazing.

I, for one, love most of her work; I just don't think her Black Widow seems strong enough to carry a solo film. I certainly wouldn't mind being proved wrong.

I don't think it should be a solo film, but a S.H.E.I.L.D series movie. It should have other S.H.E.I.L.D agents in it.

I'm suprised there isn't more buzz for this. Sure, Black Widow barely did anything in Iron Man 2 but that's why a solo feature is an excellent idea. Also, the time for female superheroes was about 9 years ago and it's certainly time for more of an effort there.

I hope they film in Russia, it's such a beautiful place to look at.

No, you're being small-minded. All they have to do is mention an American and a Canadian in Asia. She doesn't even have to know his name. Just the fact that foreigners helped protect her during World War 2 is enough.

It's a tease to the fans, not to the general audience. The audience doesn't need to know that part. It's the greater message that foreigners helped her that's important.
