Blink seems like a really important mutant regarding the future team. It seems they rely on her portals a lot to get away and trick the Sentinels. When she dies the X-Men are screwed.

ikr? Throwing her in DoPF is like a big shout for the next film. After all Blink gained (most of) her popularity from AoA.

But I've also found something scary...

There are lots of smaller, lesser-known characters you’re introducing here like Sunspot or Blink, is that with an eye towards the future or is it serving a purpose?

KINBERG: It would be nice to incorporate them into future movies. It’s interesting to think about what the future of the X-Men world would be, because we now have these two separate timelines...But no, it wasn’t really built for future movies; it was that they serve a narrative purpose within the film. When we meet some of our characters in the future, it tells the story of mutant refugees and so we wanted to populate that with characters that the fans would recognize and potentially would be intriguing enough that they’d want to follow into who knows what- maybe it’s movies, maybe it’s a television show, maybe it’s their own anime, it could go in a lot of different directions these days, there are so many different types of media that it would be cool if a movie that has this many characters could actually take advantage of a different media.

Id love to see her kick ass in AOA, thats were i first took notice of her im not sure if thats were she first appeared or not. Though im just not certain the direction in which they are heading with AOA so i dont know who to expect. Also Fan Bingbing is stunning her style is impeccable im excited to see all of them on the red carpet i def think that she will impress.

Blink first showed up in the main universe, actually, as one of several young mutants targeted by the Phalanx. She died trying to save the other kids, most of whom went on to form the Generation X team. Edited because I realize these terms and names might mean nothing to you if you don't know the comic, sorry!

She later showed up alive in the alternate 'dark future' Age of Apocalypse universe, and fan popularity saw her brought over into the main universe, I believe.

Well I guess she does fit in to this post apocalyptic future in Days of Future past as does Bishop.

Yeah, it's not a terrible fit; I think Blink is mostly known for the version of her character that comes from an apocalyptic world.

I don't think she's going to make it into the Apocalypse film despite her connection in the comics, though, because it doesn't sound as though the next film will have any time travel.

On the other hand, if they were to make an X-Force film and set it in the present day, they might include Sunspot and Warpath as familiar faces.

I just watched the 3rd trailer again an I noticed @2.01 of the trailer Bishops is using Blinks portal to shoot sentinels.

As someone stated in another thread, there is some ideas that Blink was dubbed for the MTV clip (which wouldn't surprise me since they did something similar for one of the LEON: The professional trailers) The "Let the girl go" line is from the swat guy and not Jean Reno

I honestly never thought that I would see him again. I do hope Singer actually brings him back for Apocalypse well introduces him again. This gives me hope for Blink.

They can bring new teleporter Its kinda tradition for X-men movies.

I think Magik would be the next logical teleporter or Pixie for that matter. Vanisher is quite a boring character to me.
