Body of Lies (Ridley Scott/DiCaprio/Crowe)

Usually I'm not one for political thriller-types, but I like the trailer every time I see it.

Okay. The Insider is over. Basically, they played extended footage (that flew by the screen).

Some of it is a bit spoilerish:

Dicaprio starts: "The leader is Hoffman, and he doesn't know anything until he hears from me." Some sort of room with two men in military uniforms, with a quick cut to a plane and Russell Crowe saying "All you have to do is trust me. (This was narration with a paparazzi taking a photo).

It continues with a helicopter looking down on Leonardo Dicaprio in the desert, and he's talking with Crowe: "You are attracting attention. Hang up!"

Next few shots: Crowe's house, his wife, a huge explosion, the aftermath with Leonardo Dicaprio in a plane (all damaged and bruised). They show SWAT storming a house, an aerial shot of a skyscraper, Crowe with a folder in a room: "The enemy has realized that we are an easy target." This was intercut as narration with a bomber taking out a phone and then exploding.

"They know you're part of the unit." Crowe's on the phone, Dicaprio is firing out of his jeep.

They showed quite a bit of new footage. It looked amazingly well shot.

That's all I can remember. I'm sure I mixed it all up. If so, I apologize.

Now that was 100x better then the previous trailer....really gives you an idea of what is going on.....DiCaprio looks like he has quite the role. Crowe looks great as well, even the smallest lines are delivered great, loved the "Saving civilization honey!"

That was an awesome trailer, the film looks to be a really cool espionage thriller with plenty of double dealing and two great central characters for two of the best actors around to get in to. The action also looks kickass.

I thought this was gonna be a 2009 film for me, but I just realized that this movie will be released in Holland this year. This looks quite good; the acting, directing, visual style and the teaser trailer gave a very cool vibe, but since I want to be surprised by the story I won't watch the entire theatrical trailer. Being absolutely surprised by what a movie is about can be a... beautiful thing.

That should've been the trailer shown with TDK. The one in July was forgettable. Now I may see this in theatres.
