What would you adapt into a movie? Why? How? Who would you cast?

Me, I would like to adapt the Where's Waldo books. It's a underrated franchise waiting to be tapped. It wouldn't stick 100% to the origin of the original Waldo, but will still have the same clothes and would have appearances by Wilma, Wenda, Wizard Whitebeard, Woof, and Odlaw.

The movie would be called: Codename: WALDO

Synopsis:

American Government Agent Stephen Waldo (Matt Damon) discovers that the vice-President (Ken Jenkins) is part of a seceret underground World Government that has made the ultimate weapon they plan on using to take over the world: The Magic Walking Stick. Which is able to travel anywhere and anytime in a instant, and is able to level cities in a instant. After Waldo steals The Magic Walking Stick, he is now a wanted dead or alive by the Unitied States Government for treason, sadition and terrorism. Not knowing how to use the Walking Stick, Waldo is stuck in the United States with rival Government Agent Derek Odlaw(Bruce Campbell) hot on his trail. It's an action packed thriller of Bourne Identity perportions!

 That is the dumbest idea I have ever heard for a wheres waldo movie.

What are you talking about!?!?!?!

It's a action movie! With Waldo!!!!!!

Imagine Matt Damon dressed as Waldo, jumping out of burning buildings, shooting at the FBI, kicking ass, having sex with some hot babe and shooting guns! and the villian is Bruce Campbell!!!!!!!!

It's great. I would be made like a action movie, trying to be all serious and stuff, but it's really a comedy.

Bioshock(it's a video game.)

I'm working on a Cartoon Cartoon story using the PPG, Dexter and DeeDee, Billy & Mandy, etc.

What about Courage the cowardly dog?

I always thought that was the best one.

At first I was gonna also combine them with some of the better toons from early Nickelodeon (Doug, Hey Arnold, Rocket Power, Rugrats, etc.) But I'll save that for another story.

What about a good Frank Miller's Ronin? a Faithful V for Vendetta? The Phantom Stranger? another better Constantine film.

The Walking Dead. And though it's not a book or TV show, I would love to adapt Doom into an real film. Because the Doom movie that was made was more of a bad Quake movie.

Not based on a book or anything, but I really want to see a HBO TV series about Samurais, in the vein of old samurai flicks like Sword of Doom, Hiroshi Inagaki's Samurai Trilogy, and Yojimbo.

It would be a period piece, a lot like the Rome TV series was. I think it could actually be even better than Rome cause a lot of those old films had an amazing mix of action and drama in them.

I think I might pitch the idea some day in the future.

I would've included Snow Crash and The Diamond Age by Neil Stephenson, but I don't think the first one would be done right, and the second one would have to be at least 2 1/2 hours since the main character's life is followed from childhood to an adult

Sounds cool, Addendum. I've read both of those books. Pretty good.

Ender's Game - Best book and series EVER. <3

As for comics, the Doom Patrol. I've never read their comics but what I want to see them after seeing them in the TT comics (current ones (not Go)) and cartoon.

A live action TT one would be nice as well. ;D
