I think Dark Tower would be better served as a mini-series. Or series of mini-series...mega-series? The simple time-frame of how long movies are would not do justice to translating the books and leave them truncated. Gunslinger could be a movie, and maybe Drawing of the Three. But the rest are just too long and too rich for a cinematic format.

I really need to start reading Authority. I've heard too many good things about it not to.

I'd love to see Robert Heinlein's Starship Troopers get adapted to film.

The Eye of the World by the late Robert Jordan would be pretty interesting. When I saw the cover, it looked like every other ho-hum fantasy book out on the market. But when I actually started reading it..wow it's great. Those Trollocs are a great "evil" creature.
