Borat sued again!

I was literally rolling in the aisles.
For most of the film's duration.
(1) Wasn't that kind of messy?
(2) Could you actually enjoy the film while rolling on the ground?
(3) Admit it....you were really only trying to look up girl's skirts.

I hate to use vulgar communication, but I'm saddened to know, if the movie is really that funny, we can be assured that people have accidentally farted loudly in the theater. :haunted:

I will buy it on DVD.

Am I the only one that doesnt see the humor in this character???

When I first saw the previews I thought it looked lame. These news articles just add more disgust on top of the lamage.
No your not the only one. And i don't know how people think this hilarious either.

My gf thought it looked lame and not her kind of comedy from the previews as well - I took her to it and she enjoyed it a lot...laughing from start to end.

"In my country, they go crazy for these to...not so much this one" - the look on the Minister's face was priceless :woot:

Let's put it this way, if Borat interviewed you, you'd be suing now.

No i wouldn't. I have better things to do than some comic looking for attention.

I'm going to go out and make a movie just like his and i'm going to see what happens.

But he should also know better...it's just a movie. Why stay in character? I don't even understand why he's in character for interviews on talk shows.

Beacause that's part of keeping the image of the character more real. It's something a lot of comedians with characters do in the UK, I guess you American's don't understand that kind of European humour.

Best stick to Benny Hill and Monty Python if you prefer British comedy that's 30 years old and counting.

And he made New Yorkers look violent, the south look bigotted and college student look drunk. They aren't all like that, but enough are that it is funny.

I love New Yorkers and I've yet to meet a violent person there, but I'm afraid I've met tons of bigotted Southerners since I moved to this part of the States so I don't think Cohen had to search very long to find some.

erm, Andy Kaufman was an American. There's a small band, believe it or not, of us here who understand.

At least use some new material..geez.

Like go up to an east-Asian person and say something like "Hey slant-eyes, how 'bout a discount?"

Or go up to a south-Asian person and ask "Are you paki from pakistan?"

Of course there are always going to be some exceptions to the rule and I know they're out there which does warm the cockles of my cold heart.

Andy Kaufman was a genius and probably the first comedian to live his character in this way.

That HWD's heart has cockles disturbs me greatly.

Indeed, but the best ever example of this humour is this guy - Chris Morris aka God.

http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=Chris+Morris&search=Search

Check out his pedophile special. He convinces celebrities to do some ridiculous things.

He is everything Sash Baron Cohen dreams of being.
