Watching Wolf Blitzer on CNN...so far nothing about anyone new arrested.

 

Also maybe like you said, they just feel cornered by the media. That could put anyone on the defensive, not to mention annoying you even more. It must be difficult enough trying to get through this without media scrutiny.

 

I keep seeing info on the guy's father. He is in denial something fierce.

I can absolutely see this. Its a lot for family members, especially if they haven't spoken to them in years.

 

That's the feeling I'm getting too.

From what I can tell the parents seemed completely inattentive to their kids and now are in major denial. Something Uncle Ruslan along with the other uncle even alluded to during their respective press conference.

 

There's been tons of rumors and it seems about 60% of initial rumors get shot down, so I'm not getting my hopes up yet that they got him until I see it on some news source (besides reddit which gave us about five different bogus bombing suspects).

 

Just spoke with my cousin again. She's just a couple minutes away from all this, and she's saying she's still on lock down, and the guy hasn't been found.

 

I know. Nothing is confirmed yet. I'm just saying what I'm seeing on reddit and Twitter. Take it all with a huge grain of salt.

 

Yeah, in my opinion I can see a lot of this attitude coming from another underlying issue here with immigrants and whatnot. I'm sure some of the journalists questions or tone to the family members is maybe also a little condescending or disrespectful.

Cops are treating ANYONE on the street as a suspect.

Too much craziness and confusion on the internet to keep up with. I'm not sure the news media is any less confused either.

 

Are there any videos online of the parents' statements of denial and whatnot? I'd like to see those.

 

Watching CNN....a woman reporter standing in the street commenting about how deserted it is because of the police lockdown said..."It's like a bomb went off somewhere..."
