Anyone keeping up with this on Reddit too? Are those updates legit?
I have been. I believe it is.
Xenforo Cloud upgraded our forum to XenForo version 2.3.4. This update has created styling issues to our current templates.
Starting January 9th, site maintenance is ongoing until further notice, but please report any other issues you may experience so we can look into.
We apologize for the inconvenience.

Not surprising considering all the bombs they've found.Police scanner is saying the recently found suspects car was found with several circuit boards in it.
That's not trolling. That's just being downright diabolical.Real life troll if I've ever seen one.
TL;DR: for those of us just joining!
Here's my attempt at an overview of what's happened so far, for those of us just joining. This is put together from what I saw before I went to sleep last night, and what I've read from all of these threads.
The night started when an MIT campus officer was shot and killed after discovering the subjects planting explosives. The police responded and a chase ensued. In the chaos, one man (the blonde man lying on the street) was detained but later cleared. A 7/11 was robbed during the night as well, consensus currently says that it was these subjects.
Explosives were thrown (during the chase?), but somehow the suspects eluded capture and made it back to their house. Police were somehow able to get a positive identity on them and pursued to their location. There was a shootout at a location near suspects' house, where Boston suspect 1 (Black Hat) was shot by police. His brother, Boston suspect 2 (White Hat), fled and left him behind.
After being shot, Black Hat activated an explosive suicide vest, likely from a kill-switch (or maybe a dead-man's switch, which are subtly different things).
The police have suspicion of more suspects than just White Hate, though I'm unsure on how firm these suspicions are (do they know that more people are involved, or being cautious?). They are currently seeking White Hat, and have cleared out multiple buildings in the process. There was a report of a hostage situation, but new evidence suggests it was unrelated.
A different suspect has been apprehended; this suspect reportedly had on a suicide vest and was holding an activation switch. The bomb squad was called in to remove vest, and suspect is in custody (any confirmation on suspect's condition?).
White Hat suspect may still be on the loose, though a report said that the police are questioning someone who may have been White Hat.
White and Black Hat suspects were born in Chechnya, lived there briefly, lived in Kyrgyzstan for a while, but primarily grew up in the US. They had plans to go to Russia with their aunt in the next few days.
I'm trying not to list out everything that has happened (don't need to copy what OP is doing), just the most important highlights.
Please let me know what I have wrong/am missing so I can fix it!
They're also reporting that the suspects didn't rob the gas station, but someone else did, geez. Talk about a crazy night to be working at that gas station, you have 2 suspected fugitives coming in to buy gas, and then you get robbed shortly after or before. Edit: Might have been different locations, gas station, 7/11, not the same but sometimes gas stations have a 7/11 next door.I was just watching ABC and they tried to speak to the sister in NJ, but she was very reluctant and only spoke a little from behind her door. But basically she said she hasn't spoken to them in years and she's really upset because she lost a brother. She was slamming the door on the reporter, but I though it was odd because he was asking her if they were brothers, and she said 'No'.
They did not rob the 7/11.
I've been hearing all day that they did. When did that change?
I just heard them do a timeline and they said the guys robbed the 7/11, then went to MIT and killed the cop before they carjacked someone.
The cop that executed was in the vehicle they jacked is what I heard.

Yeah, I'm confused about this too. I heard the cop was found in his car, but why kill a cop in a car and then randomly steal someone else's car and not kill them?I can't figure out the cop, because from what I understand he was found in his car. So they randomly kilked a cop? The man they carjacked either escaped or was let go, I'm not sure which.
Yeah, that's kinda weird.Yeah, I'm confused about this too. I heard the cop was found in his car, but why kill a cop in a car and then randomly steal someone else's car and not kill them?
They've cancelled tonight's performance of Book of Mormon in Boston.
