Yeah, 9/11 is another level unto itself....not to downplay the seriousness of this situation.

Honestly I wonder if they knew and were just letting it go for a while. I mean, the media probably listens to them all the time and I'm sure they've been listening to the same feed we all have been this time too.

This and the Chris Dorner incident are definitely the craziest things to happen since 9/11. But I honestly think NOTHING will ever compare to watching that second plane fly right into that second tower. I was only 17 at the time and the weight of what had happened really hadn't hit me but good god it was the craziest thing I have ever seen. That **** was just ****ing bonkers. I'll remember that day till the day I die.

I don't remember hearing that much about the Dorner incident. I knew it was happening when it was, but I wasn't as "involved" with it like I am with this case.
