It was definitely a wild ride. To think, about 4 hours ago, they were pretty much telling the reporters to go home because they had no leads.

Again, its hard to feel sorry for someone who tried to kill so many people, but if that were the case, it would really suck, especially for it to happen to someone so young.

Would kind of make sense but it could also be they figured no one would find out it was them and make no real plans to escape. Plus they had other bombs with them, which could mean they were planning further attacks.

As for them leaving, it sounds like the kid's car was in the shop and he didn't pick it up until Tuesday. But I can't help but feel like they were planning on striking again because I really don't see a reason to stick around so close to the area of the crime.

I read a book where the same thing happened during the WTC bombings...they were so strapped for cash they tried to get their deposit back on the truck they bombed the WTC with

With another pressure cooker bomb and other smaller devices in their possession, I'd say they were making other plans, but the FBI releasing photos of them made them panic and it made them jittery enough to blow their cover.

Damn, this guy is right. Imagine watching the videos of the attacks over and over again. That has to take some kind of toll after a while.

I hope the kid survives. And I'm not condoning what he did but I do feel kinda sorry for him. Older siblings hold a lot of power.

If he lives he should spend life in prison. I don't feel good about the death penalty in general.

Yeah, even with all of the false internet theories of who the suspects were, the police still managed to get a good enough lead that helped them get the word out there, and these guys literally did their best to bring even more attention to themselves, as well as provide more evidence to incriminate themselves.

And I can't wait to hear what else the Feds say about the older brother since they came out and said he was questioned in the past.

No to killing people? It's not like he's a preschooler. But you never know what kinds of pressure family can put on someone. Again, I don't sympathize for him if that's the case, but I'd be greatly saddened if something like a family bond were abused in such a fashion.

I think the worst thing is that this kid, and his brother as well to some extent, seemed to have things good. The kid was a great student, studying medicine, and was athletic and had good relationships with people. But for some reason he just there it all away at a very young age.
