I don't remember that bit about Waller. S***, maybe I have to rethink this "Lex was a good president" stance.

No, I'm sure he was generally no worse than any real-world President, but the point is, he didn't plaster himself into EVERY****INGCOMIC like Osborn has been doing.

By the way: this whole Dark Reign thing? Chalk it up as one more ripoff of DC for the "House of Ideas."

Apparently, the whole idea of Dark Reign came up when someone at one of Marvel's creative retreats or whatever mused, "What if everyone in the Marvel universe were Peter Parker (i.e. everything always went badly or them, despite their best intentions)?" Which, I guess, explains why Norman Osborn, of all people, is in charge of every superhuman in the United States now.
