I personally hope it reaches 400 million...

Just so we're all realists here, it's not going to make 400 million. It's got an excellent chance of being highest grossing film of the year though, at least domestically.

HP will be huge, but the TF's studio is not going to pull TR out of theaters come July 11 because of HP. t:

TF will be in the theaters for at least 5 month, there's going to be highs and lows for TF during that time, but believe me it's gonna get 300D.

Oh yeah i definitely see 300+ also. But crazy record-breaking numbers? i'm not sure. But you can definitely count on TF2 kicking ass whenever it comes out, cause sequels of successful movies produce an insane amount of cash (ala matrix, spiderman, pirates, shrek).

I went for the third time on Sunday, this time without friends or family, just me, and that's when I've enjoyed it the most!!! I fell in love with this movie on a 3rd viewing, and it's not like I wasn't blown away the first two times either.

Thus far I've contributed to the domestic numbers, by purchasing 12 tickets total. Three for me, and the remainder for the people I've gone to see it with.

You KNOW, I'm going to see it several more times, before it leaves the theatres.

Do you think harry potter 5 will take its place and beat Transformers? I mean Transformers beat 2 sequels, Spiderman and Pirates 3 so I am hoping that transformers will remain #1 and beat out Harry Potter.

Great opening for Transformers, I don't have much interest in the film but I admire a fine boxoffice performance when I see one. Good for Bay and crew I guess.

These numbers are farther proof that if you should people something they haven't seen they will come out to see it in droves. WB could have had these numbers last year if they would have gotten over the fact that we aren't living in 1978.

Beat them in Quality.. I did not feel at I lost 2+ hours of my life when I Watched TF.. Sm3 I thought I Wasted my time completely with POTC3 being slightly less wasteful.

I enjoyed both POTC 3 and SM3 . TF ranks higher then both of them on my list

Yes they are. For the longest time, IMDB had Frank Welker as Megatron for the movie. Yay for bad info.
